Tyson could have sparked him out if he wanted. He didn't want to, Mike wanted the challenge he wanted to see what he is still able to do, and to see how much he could withstand. Paul was an interesting match for him, someone who Mike maybe sees abit of himself in with how he's travelling through his boxing era. The age difference alone should be enough to give it away that it was never about knocking eachother out but more about the experience and obviously the money in it.... but they had to give the win to someone. Mike let him have it, if you didn't notice, with Jake and all his confidence, Mike brought him down a peg or two when he got his few digs at Jake in the first 2 rounds.... he humbled him and taught him a life lesson that he will carry with him for the rest of his days.
