It’s so hard when you feel lonely despite being surrounded by others. Just know that you are not alone in feeling this way. Look for simple things that bring you joy. Do something kind for a stranger. Count your blessings. Call a trusted friend or relative and tell them the dumbest joke you could find on the internet. Fill yourself with positive thoughts to replace the negative. You can move past this and find yourself in a better place. Sending you peace…

In 1986, I ran the Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee. My last "effort run" was a 15 mile church fund raiser the week prior at the church my then girlfriend went to. It rained about as hard as is depicted in this video. I remember hearing the thunder and being keenly aware of God's presence above. I felt the rain washing and cleaning my spirit-self. I was in the church basement after my run changing into dry cloths and hearing the congregation upstairs singing a hymn.....We all experience God in our own way. As a boy a man and now a senior I have been blessed to spend most of my entire life, work and play, outdoors in His creation and I thank Him every night for this beautiful life-time blessing........if you are reading this, I'm guessing you are blessed in ways you may or may not know.....Namaste

As Taoist I use to walk and often do my meditation in the forest while it rains. My grand father trained me to listen to all sounds of the nature when I was 8 years old. It's an inner cleansing mind process that makes you feel so relaxed and in harmony with yourself and all the other people around you. When you empty your mind it's like to wash away all negative thoughts

as a young boy in Macduff in Scotland I used to sit in the window and listen to the rain there was always plenty but so relaxing and peaceful fir the mind. now at the age if 61 still do the same

I used to meditate but when I got sick I couldn't calm my mind down enough so I started meditating while listening to nature sounds and frequencies. It helps my insomnia as well....thank you.

this kind of tunes make me want to leave everything in the city and go to the mountains and find myself in stillness, tranquil from the worlds chaos and harmony, contemplating and inquiring about my self in deep meditation. Honestly, it does remove negative experiences that people have left us with. scars will heal but will be a reminder of what experience we went through, and those around us will remind us what experience we left them with.
I sometimes feel the same urge, but I usually come to the realization that real peace for me would not come from leaving the chaos to go to a still place; instead, I want to cultivate the stillness and calm in the face of world as it is. That makes it an interesting personal challenge. It can be easy to find peace in a peaceful place without stress.

I know what it feels like to walk alone. Sometimes in life, you may be discarded. Some people may not have an easy start, and trouble comes in many forms. People often say failure is the best teacher. I think different failures teaches us how to be compassionate, and have better understanding out look on life, It teaches us what it feels like to be in another person's shoes. Because we all at share similar experiences some good some bad. I use to walk in the rain heartbroken trying to find my way, gave more than anyone will ever know, with what little I had to people who looked down on me because I'm different. I took everything, every unfair situation, every injustice. But walking in the rain gave hope, it cleansed my soul. People run to stay dry(safe).I looked at it as a gift from God. In its cold uncomfortabness I learned to appreciate the gift of Life that water gives. In life there will be many storms, but there will always be a brighter day. Today i asked myself what the meaning of all this life was for. Casting that into space i heard “to live well without an awnser”. Fix both hands to that thread of truth in your soul and follow it through all the dark and seductive things that try to tease your grip free. Pull, and grow, and don’t try to impress on others what is right and what is wrong. Become a beacon within yourself, and radiate that warmth and love to the people around you. Carry that light on friend.
