I don’t think mgk responded because he ran out of compliments after his first diss

Listening to Kill Shot still gives me goosebumps. A diss that made a man leave rap music and start making making bubble gum rock. Eminem has the beat, the lyrics and numbers. MGK diss was like Nicki Minaj response to Remy Ma.

MGK said "I had a clip then I put it back in the holster."

The fact that Eminem's diss track was more lyrical is EXACTLY the reason why Eminem won the battle. People think the reason why Em put out killshot was to offend mgk and that couldn't be further from the point. Em litteraly dropped killshot as a HUGE lyrical flex on Mgk. Letting him know that no matter how big HE thinks he is that he will never ever touch the lyrical set of skills that Em has. Killshot was not meant to offend mgk but to litteraly destroy his chances at ever being a competitive lyricist. It litteraly showed mgk why Em is respect by the founding fathers of hip hop compared to mgk being only respected by "OG rappers"

“It’s not bad for him” a few seconds in and I’m audibly laughing 🤣

  • @007TheLife

When Em said Rap Devil was “not bad for him”, that was like a moral victory for MGK lol.

I really appreciate your videos, everyone can notice how much passion, efforts, accuracy and most importantly impartiality you put into it. I’m not a Stan, I think over all, I listened to maybe the 30% of all Eminem’s music. However I expected on this video in which you are dealing with the topic of eminem and mgk diss, a reflection that perhaps you have missed. Lyricism for me, personally it’s one of the most valuable foundation that makes great an Mc. Eminem lyrically slaughtered mgk, and maybe it's true that mgk had a more catchy song, but as you may have heard from the interview with Sway, Em didn't want to give too much importance to mgk. Consequently, and always in my opinion, eminem with “killshot” was more an advice-song than a diss song against mgk, like a father trying to make his son take the first steps, so I expected this from a person as careful and accurate as you. reasoning. Em didn't want to do too much, i mean, overdoing with his song, no catchy nor elaborate beat, just patting mgk on the back saying "this is how it's done, son." The true value of lyricism. Also, your comment about the Em verse that mgk is a mumble rapper? Yeah whatever, Eminem compared to Mgk? Hell yeah he’s a mumble rapper. In the breakfast club interview with mgk, did you hear how much he sounds absolutely hypocrite? Just starting with “you wanna talk about facts and you are talkin’ about man bun?” Damn he, himself on “rap devil” started with that silly “weird beard” rhyme, come on! He also said that his album sold about 20 millions copies, wtf? Neither Em sold so much with a single album, for example back in the 2002 only in the U.S. with “The Eminem show” sold at most 7,9 millions copies. However, the only (huge) problem I saw with mgk, is that he has to grow up, learn to be humble, to be more mature, and perhaps sometimes learn to shut the f*** up. Another thing that’s really irritating me, it’s like becoming a trend to target eminem to become more famous or to get noticed more by the mass, in addition to mgk also lord jamar is a further example of this toxic trend. And this thing is reluctant to say the least and above all whoever does it should be ashamed of himself.

I think rap devil is a slightly better track as well. Eminem’s rebuttal was great but MGK had an overall more complete track.. and like you said if what MGK was saying was true (which I do believe) it makes character Em look bad .. but nobody will ever know forreal
