We were spoiled back in the 70s and 80s. Such a rich vein of prog and syphonic rock produced by the likes of Camel, Alan Parsons Project etc. Very difficult to see how that can be beaten now. Perhaps it is an age thing, you remember what you listened to when you were young and ignore some potentially great acts now.

I actually went to their first concert in London at the Barbican after Andrew's illness. There was a 10mn standing ovation when they walked on stage. It was very emotional. The first time I heard ICE was in Paris and to this day I remember being unable to speak when it ended. There are so many fantastic songs: Ice, For Today, Lawrence, Long Goodbyes, Never Let Go, Summer Lightning etc..etc...
