I am not into portraits but interested in all your colour mixing obviously.When your mixing these different tones how do you stop them from drying out before you get round to using them and how do you remember what colours make up these tones and in what quantities if they do dry out or run out.You can tell I am learner but please be gentle with me .
I'm sure I said in the video 1 or 2 that I placed them on a wax paper pot and kept my wet pallet damp check again in case you must it I use a wet pallet paint can keep in there for weeks I've added my full playlists below for you thanks Clive

Clive, some portrait artists begin by covering their canvas with a ground, usually burnt sienna. Is that not necessary using the method that you are showing us here? Thanks for all your hard work on our behalf!
George you know your right I hold up my hands, I get carried away sometimes it's so hard teaching and filming at the same time and I make mistakes so ism sorry it doe indeed make it easy to lay on a ground first. Have you published any painting books ?
I like most of your stuff, but this went pretty bad dude. I would go darker on the darks and lighter on the lights in the beginning for acrylics.
It all worked out in the end showing me struggling helps others I had only done a few portraits at this point who dares wins
