This is by far the best virtual trip I've ever taken, thanks to you, Chris. I'm all caught up now but I wish I weren't because now I will have to wait patiently for your next video. I hope you are doing well and I wonder where you are at this moment.
In my insane world of Doctors Visits lately , your trip has helped to keep my sanity. Nothing better then getting out and about even if it is only with a video. Happy hiking and I hope you find some ( trail magic ) Mountain Dew.
On your AT hike, while submitting, you'd often say, "nothing to see here." I haven't heard you say that on this hike, and I have to admit the views are beautiful.
You're hiking rhythm is ingrained in my memory now haha. The audio is so good from your setup as soon as I start one of your videos my mind just gets into the rhythm of your footsteps :) Also I've been wondering, do you need to hang your food from something in the desert or do you just sleep with it usually?
I didn't hang my food on the AZT. I'd leave it in my pack in the vestibule area of my tent. I did use the bear boxes at the camp sites in the National Parks.
