Hello, another great tip. I always hide some dollars on me.

My #1 - Always have a backup phone with a different SIM(network) in it, it has saved me on more than a few occasions. You can easily get a decent new backup Motorola Android phone for £60

Hello, this is so true. It should have been part of the emergence plan 😂. Thanks for the tip

@@travelwithwill1 Most people will have and use Dual SIM and may think it's over the top (it isn't!). But I like to have a separate emergency Gmail on it too. Then if you are out drinking at night or the area is a bit dodgy you take it out as your phone. Then it is not a tragedy if you lose your cheap backup phone.

Fantastic, information, priceless knowledge, I’m not an international traveler, but your information covers most places people go, so thank you, 👍👍👍

@@travelwithwill1 Hello there. Like you, I also like to travel with extra money, not tight fit budget. I've not used international SIM card as my local SIM card covers some places abroad. Sometimes I'm quite prone to sickness, so I carry some medicine for headache, stomachache or seasick, winding roads etc. I also like to carry some sweets or something that can help me relax while traveling. 😀

@@travelwithwill1 I've not travelled that much lately, so basically, most of my travel days were when I'm younger, been to all the states in peninsular Malaysia, few places in Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. Been to some cities and places in Spain. Worked and lived in Mumbai for 3 years and been to some cities and many places in India. So far, all the basics when traveling need to stay intact like safeguarding your presence and health, your belongings, your money and credit or debit cards, your wallet, your mobile or notebook or laptop, your shoes and clothing, taking care of what you eat and drink, stay in a good place, travel in a good transportation, trust good friend and people along your travel, and those are only the mental preparations to avoid the unnecessary while traveling. Always be alert and aware of your surroundings, even when you are having fun while traveling. 😀

@@travelwithwill1 Like you mentioned, travel insurance is a must for frequent travellers and digital nomad, and like you too, I like to travel light with proper clothing. Suitable travel plugs and chargers for mobiles and computers are also important. When traveling, I also must have the basic toiletries with at least one EDT and something aromatherapy to alleviate my stress. Above all, I will pray for protection, a safe journey from home, while abroad and back home safely. My travel stories, perhaps in another comment, plenty of them from Spain and many of them from India. I hope that one day, my wishes and dreams will come true, to work and live in Western Europe, a place I consider a conducive environment that can unleash my true potential. Isn't it spring time in Switzerland, you can show the blooming flowers over there. 😀
