    Fun video. 'Real life'. Been in those awkward setups with butt cheeks going numb, not thinking I could hold on for another minute... and having the tom pop out 20 yards in front of me. My mantra is 'one more minute' ... minute after painful minute!
    Thank you!

      HAHAHA! it was in fact. Even while editing that I was going “yea I really am not doing a great job of saying what I mean here.” hahaha. I wanted to say I was further than 2 miles in a straight line according to the map and I had to go up and down a bunch…but it came out as “I’m in here a mile so I’m really far.” 😂😂

    Looks like some of the type of terrain I hunt sometimes. Uphill and downhill shots can be a challenge. It is easy to get the elevation wrong on the shot.

  • @rodneylingle
    @rodneylingle 6 месяцев назад

    Great hunt ! As a Lifelong turkey hunter how do you hunt without a sling on that gun ? Especially in that terrain.

    What do yall hunters fo with the feathers

    • @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1
      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  6 месяцев назад

      Just depends on the day, the bird, how close I am to home…a lot of factors really. I have dried out a bunch of fans and made a couple wing/fan mounts…among other things.

      @@TrentWilliamsOutdoors1 that’s crazy, just looks like a spot I hunted in the huge state of Nebraska.

    • @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1
      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  6 месяцев назад

      @@thedamoutdoors8823you are welcome to do whatever you’d like on your channel, but I really wish the state mentioning would go away. Nebraska itself, is big….but less than 2% of it is public land. It’s pretty easy for traveling Turkey hunters to zone in on public land spots when states are named.
