Huh? If it's a TA non-racing RC kit, it's pretty much an average overpriced RC, I just like how this looks. With that being said this is a 1,000.00+ RC if you want to get the most out of it. You dont have any of this nonsense with 6S Arrma road cars. The Arrma road cars are essentially poor man's MCD's and most people are just fine with that LOL.
Thanks for sharing yr experience. I'm keen to get one , however replacing brand new electronics seems such a waste . A wicked Castle setup would do it .
I’m keeping mine. I replaced all the electronics with Spektrum except the motor and it tracks straight, very punchy, and hitting over 60mph regularly with the 14t pinion. I’m going to get some of your recommended tires and will likely see even better performance.
I'm learning about this issue along the way and got a battery coming to hopefully mitigate the issue. From what I understand, when your car is over-geared for the motor (high kv setup), the voltage drop under acceleration and full throttle is too much for the motor to spin at it's full RPM potential. Voltage drop comes from amp draw, so the higher the amps go, the lower the volts go.
@@UDRC85 Yup.. I know with mod 1 it's a bigger jump because the teeth are so big even with 2 teeth up. A higher mah battery combo should solve your issue
Are you keeping yours? This recall to me seems like BS from my perspective. I don’t often run stock electronics so most of the stock stuff got ripped out and saved for something else. (Cheap project or resell) 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ do you think they’ll release again at a later time?
Good Run bro. Salute!
Nobody ever said AE’s electronics were very good , but the engineering & manufacturing has always been better than most

Yes like Tamiya Tonka and even Lego!!!😂
It still looks like fun drifting it around

Yeah I wish the esc and servo was better for sure.
I prefer this outlaw look 🔥

Nice. I just installed the spektrum 8s for now.

That could very much be the case. I only went up to a 16t from a 14t. 14t is stock.

Keeping mine , I don’t run stock ESC
💪🏾💯… I’m sure you have a Mamba Monster 8s laying around to check and see if it’s the esc causing the brown out.

I’ll keep mine. Hopefully they release it again with better electronics or at least a roller.
I'm keeping mine. Only other choice is ZD RACING and it's not near as nice of a rig as this.
