You should check out the video of the making of that clip. It was practically impossible to land in the quarter pipe because of how much he was bouncing off the wall because of the speed he had to hit it

Guys doing big tricks, should really where a helmet. The risk is always there but way higher when doing huge crazy tricks. Don’t learn the hard way. You may never be able to ride again like so many riders.
Helmets are annoying usually but yeah with huge jumps and things like that death is a large possibility.
