I believe Lui actually says "I'm second" coz Subaru right after this clip ends says "I'm third", as in the EN members met them second then third after Towa
@@simpchan4080 She declared herself as a Mumei fan, she made her a Mumei shaped berry house in Minecraft and on her last birthday she asked her directly to call her Polka (without the senpai part). I mean, with this there’s something going on right? 😂
Subaru can understand written and spoken English pretty well and type in English pretty well actually, she just can't speak it as strongly. She'll only get more powerful with time!
Subaru actually pretty good on english. Watch her henry stickmin streams. She personally translated everything to her audience and got most of them right before the japanese subs were available
I guess they didnt see the Bae and Marine collab or they would know Bae speaks Japanese Kiara,Cali,Iyrys, and Bae of EN just do their streams mostly in English though Kiara used to duolingo her statements
I think they want to test out their English and not leave the other two out of the conversation. The best way to learn a language is to actually speak it so this gives them tons of practice. It will also probably give them more motivation to learn more going forward as they'll remember things that they didn't know how to say during this stream. From what I can hear, Lui sounds like she's done a lot of English classes in Japan. Her pronunciation comes across quite accented but she seems to have a wide vocabulary and good comprehension. Japanese English classes tend to focus on reading, writing, and listening more than speaking, and basically never touch pronunciation. Shuba, by contrast, seems to be a bit more limited on the vocab but has solid pronunciation. She's mentioned before that she did an exchange in Canada when she was in school, so she's had a decent amount of exposure to native speakers. She probably hasn't really spoken English in years so it will probably take her a bit of time and practice to get her vocabulary back. I know the feeling. I learned French in school and can understand it quite well, but after years of not using it I can't really speak it so well. It's not that I can't pronounce things it's that the words don't come to mind and I find myself thinking about every couple of words, it sorta breaks the flow in natural speech. But if I'm reading or listening I'm fine because I know what the words mean, I've just forgotten that they exist, if that makes any sense. I assume she's in a similar situation.

Misheard Japanese lyrics strikes again lol
Yeah I also misheard that but realized it when lui said second
It's funny how they're all together, so when asking Bae what kind of jacked she bought, she's just like, well take a look at it yourself lol
tfw lui has better english understanding makes the stream very smooth. and subaru with her extreme extrovert + passion english fits right in the group
It’s surprising how Polka hasn’t met Mumei yet
Im out of the loop, whats happened between Polka and Mumei?

@@xXpacocapXx Polka is generally very nice to her EN juniors
@@simpchan4080 yeah she said similar things on faunas bday stream
I think (from what other members say) that Polka is generally pretty reclusive. She also hates having other people see her eat.
Subaru has chad senpai energy. Even though she has the biggest language barrier in the group

that's extrovert for ya
Nah Subaru is actually one of the better ones at english among JP mems. Mumei and Fauna are worse at japanese than Subaru is at english

subaru and towa always at each other's throats lol
I'm surprised Fauna and Watame havent meant IRL yet
Watame is a busy sheep. Schedules need to line up perfectly for off collabs to happen.
Watame, Korone and Pekora the busy member.
They did. There was a clip where Watame talks about her IRL meeting with Fauna and Bae.
Lui-nee is pretty good at English 😯
Out of JP, these two might have the best English, along with Haachama.
@@pumpjackmcgee4267 Holo EN Gen 0
@@pumpjackmcgee4267 Haachama is fluent and way above Lui and Subaru, but they're pretty good considering.
man, i didn't know how much i missed shubalish ^_^
sasuga extrovert Subaru and Lui-nee
Wish there were more translations
o:18 I'm pretty sure Bae says "You must shop the sales".
Wrong stream source?

Lui literally had a japanese teaching stream with bae lol
