Wrong.., but while I agree with your point of view.. Africa, before it was called Africa...., it was called Eden, Abzu, Atlantia, Olympia, Nubia, Alkebulan, Ethiopia, and now Africa... I agree with you in the sense that. My rational is that the whole planet earth was/is his garden and was once known and called Eden... also.., history shows where all life begin.. and we migrated out into the world over time... we did not just spring up like flowers out of the ground...all over the planet all at once... no.. instead we migrated outwards... from Eden.. the center mass of the earth is the African Continent.... Hope that helps..

@@MorganJohnsonAuthor that’s not correct. Eden didn’t exist as we think of it. Also there are islands that have the oldest writings to have been discovered. What about Pangea? Also that name Eden only came about in the 16th century. Before then no one knew that name. Bible scholars aren’t scholars, they are soothsayers. Also remember the kjv was put together by a council of 12 white men whose purpose was to simply control the masses with the fear of being punished for not believing. The original story comes from the book of the dead! God, if one of them were the creator would not need to have pets or worshippers, that is a human construct. I’m not saying don’t try and speak to the creator but he doesn’t “NEED “ anything from us. His existence isn’t dependent on whether or not we worship him. The greatest and fullest commandment known is to help each other in everything good. None of this Eden stuff was even mentioned in the book of the dead, the Keira negast, the holy piby or any book older than the Bible. Trust it isn’t a place but a conscience and not physical plane.

It’s mind boggling that people are against the truth and fighting against the truth at all costs, even if it means their future generations having to suffer because their grandparents were unwilling to accept the truth and change the evil ways that they inherited. God has receipts for everything and every one. Make a difference when there’s a chance to or suffer the consequences to come and you won’t have any excuses to say.

*Ancient African Ships.* Ivan Van Sertima describes ancient African ships as advanced vessels that were capable of navigating vast oceans by harnessing natural currents and winds. He highlights that these ships were often constructed from materials readily available in Africa, showcasing the ingenuity and craftsmanship of African maritime cultures.
The ships utilized designs that allowed them to be both sturdy and efficient in various water conditions. By understanding and leveraging ocean currents, these vessels could travel long distances, facilitating trade and cultural exchange. Van Sertima's work emphasizes the significance of these maritime traditions in African history, illustrating that Africans were not only adept at land navigation but also had a profound knowledge of oceanic travel long before European exploration.

@@Tashaten The phrase "the mother plane shams Ezekiel's wheel" appears to combine several concepts, possibly in a poetic or metaphorical way. Here’s a breakdown:
Mother Plane: This term could refer to a fundamental or primary level of existence or reality. In some philosophical or metaphysical contexts, it might denote a source from which other forms or realities emerge.
Shams: As mentioned earlier, this could refer to Shams Tabrizi, a significant figure in Sufi mysticism and the spiritual companion of the poet Rumi. It might also connote light or illumination.
Ezekiel's Wheel: This refers to the vision described in the Book of Ezekiel in the Bible, representing divine presence and movement, often interpreted as a symbol of God's glory and the complexities of creation.
When combined, the phrase could suggest a metaphorical expression about a foundational aspect of existence (the mother plane) that reflects or embodies divine illumination and complexity (shams Ezekiel's wheel). It may imply a connection between spirituality, creation, and the nature of reality. ❤️

As of now, a total of 17 colossal stone heads have been discovered from the Olmec civilization. These heads vary in size and detail, with some standing over three meters (approximately ten feet) tall and weighing several tons. The majority of these heads have been found at key archaeological sites such as San Lorenzo, La Venta, and Tres Zapotes, and they are regarded as some of the most significant artworks of ancient Mesoamerican culture. Each head is unique, often featuring distinct facial features that may represent individual rulers or deities.

  • @MrMotown2011
    @MrMotown2011 Месяц назад +2

Ivan Van Sertima discusses the Olmec heads as significant evidence of African influence in pre-Columbian America. He argues that the colossal stone heads, which were created by the Olmec civilization in ancient Mexico, exhibit features that he interprets as resembling those of African peoples.
Key points from his analysis include:
    1. Facial Features: Van Sertima highlights the distinct facial characteristics of the Olmec heads, suggesting that they possess features similar to those found in African ethnic groups, such as broad noses and full lips.
    2. Cultural Connections: He proposes that these similarities indicate a possible connection between Africans and the Olmec civilization, suggesting that there may have been transoceanic contact that allowed for cultural exchange.
    3. Artistic Techniques: Van Sertima also points to the advanced artistic techniques used in the creation of the heads, arguing that such skills could have been influenced by African craftsmanship.
    4. Historical Context: He places the Olmec civilization within a broader context of ancient maritime trade and exploration, positing that Africans could have reached the Americas before European contact.
Van Sertima's interpretations of the Olmec heads have sparked debate among scholars, with some supporting his views on African presence in pre-Columbian America, while others challenge the conclusions based on alternative explanations for the similarities.

@ou8r122 Here are some notable similarities in ancient art between Africa and America:
      1. Symbolism and Spirituality
      - Africa: Many African art pieces, like masks and sculptures, were created for spiritual and religious purposes. They often depicted deities, spirits, and ancestors.
      - America: Similarly, Native American art, including totems, pottery, and textiles, often had spiritual significance and depicted gods, spirits, and mythological creatures.
      2. Geometric Patterns
      - Africa: African textiles, pottery, and carvings often feature intricate geometric patterns and designs.
      - America: Pre-Columbian art in the Americas also displayed a strong use of geometric patterns, especially in textiles and ceramics.
      3. Use of Natural Materials
      - Africa: Traditional African art frequently used materials like wood, ivory, clay, and natural dyes.
      - America: Ancient American civilizations similarly used local natural materials such as stone, clay, feathers, and plant fibers in their artwork.
      4. Functional Art
      - Africa: Many African art objects served practical purposes, such as pottery for storage or masks for ceremonies.
      - America: In ancient American cultures, art objects like pottery, tools, and clothing also had functional uses along with their aesthetic value.
      5. Human and Animal Figures
      - Africa: African sculptures and masks often depicted human forms, animals, or a combination of both.
      - America: Ancient American art also frequently portrayed humans and animals, as seen in the Aztec and Mayan sculptures, as well as in various other indigenous art forms across the continent.
These similarities highlight how different cultures can have common artistic expressions despite geographical distances.
*Here are some of the more striking similarities between ancient African and American civilizations:*
      1. Pyramidal Structures
      - Africa: The most famous pyramids are those in Egypt, built as monumental tombs for pharaohs.
      - America: In Mesoamerica, civilizations like the Maya and Aztecs also constructed pyramidal structures for religious and ceremonial purposes.
      2. Hieroglyphic Writing
      - Africa: Egyptian hieroglyphs are well-known symbols used in temple walls, tombs, and papyrus scrolls.
      - America: The Maya developed a complex system of hieroglyphic writing, carved on monuments and written in codices.
      3. Advanced Agricultural Practices
      - Africa: Ancient African civilizations like those along the Nile developed sophisticated irrigation techniques to support agriculture.
      - America: Similarly, civilizations such as the Inca in South America used advanced agricultural techniques like terracing and irrigation to farm mountainous regions.
      4. Astronomical Knowledge
      - Africa: The ancient Egyptians had a deep understanding of astronomy, as evidenced by the alignment of their pyramids and temples with celestial bodies.
      - America: The Maya civilization possessed advanced astronomical knowledge, which they used to create detailed calendars and align their architectural structures with celestial events.
      5. Use of Similar Tools and Techniques
      - Africa: Stone carving, metallurgy, and pottery were highly developed in various African cultures.
      - America: Ancient American civilizations also mastered stone carving, metallurgy (especially gold and silver), and pottery.
      6. Mummification
      - Africa: The Egyptians practiced mummification as part of their burial rituals to preserve bodies for the afterlife.
      - America: Some Andean cultures, notably the Chinchorro in modern-day Chile and Peru, practiced mummification long before the Egyptians.
      7. Trade Networks
      - Africa: Extensive trade networks connected different parts of Africa, facilitating the exchange of goods, ideas, and culture.
      - America: Similarly, ancient American civilizations had vast trade networks that connected different regions, allowing for the exchange of goods like turquoise, obsidian, and cacao.
      8. Urban Planning
      - Africa: Ancient cities like Timbuktu and Carthage showed advanced urban planning with streets, marketplaces, and public buildings.
      - America: Cities like Teotihuacan and Tenochtitlan exhibited sophisticated urban planning with organized streets, plazas, and temples.

One of the significant findings in the study of Olmec DNA involved comparisons with DNA from various populations, including those from West Africa. The research led by David Reich and his team highlighted genetic connections between ancient populations in Mesoamerica and West Africa, suggesting that there might be some shared ancestry or migration patterns.
However, it's essential to note that the findings have been interpreted carefully within the context of historical migrations and interactions. The results do not imply a direct lineage but rather indicate complex ancestral links that may have existed over thousands of years. Further studies are ongoing to clarify these relationships and their implications for understanding the genetic history of both regions.

Ivan Van Sertima asserts that the earliest dates of Africans in America date back to around 2000 B.C. He presents evidence suggesting that African presence in the Americas occurred through various means, including maritime exploration and trade. He argues that ancient African seafarers reached the Americas long before Christopher Columbus's voyages in 1492. Van Sertima highlights these early interactions to challenge conventional narratives about the history of transatlantic contact and exploration.

During the 1960s, he worked for several years in Great Britain as a journalist, doing weekly broadcasts to the Caribbean and Africa. Van Sertima married Maria Nagy in 1964; they adopted two sons, Larry and Michael.
In doing field work in Africa, he compiled a dictionary of Swahili legal terms in 1967. In 1970 Van Sertima immigrated to the United States, where he entered Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, for graduate work.
I grew up in Britain. During the 1960s, he not only worked as a journalist but he did some Intelligence work for the British secret services. During that decade, the 1960s, I was attending School and College.

Our personal history as Africoid people goes back well before Kemet or recorded history itself. The white man’s mind is that of quick sand. What history do they have? Southern Europeans don’t have the same gene pool as those in the north they claim Greece and Rome. Neither civilization belongs to a Europe. First off Europe is a peninsula not a continent just as brothas and sistas are flocking to get to Europe such was the reverse in the old day. The exception was the interaction of western Asian, Mediterranean, and African peoples. On the continent itself though was its original people the same ones there today apart from the descendants of colonizers. There’s so much lost to time and so much to try and regain.

*Summary of the Video: "The True History of Africans in America"*
The video discusses the historical narrative surrounding African history, particularly in relation to Africans in America. It highlights the need for African voices to tell their own stories, contrasting this with the dominant narratives often presented by Western scholars.
    Key Points
    Historical Distortion
    - The video references a quote from the author Chinua Achebe: "Until the lion learns to write, every story will glorify the hunter," signalling that historical accounts have often been told from a Eurocentric perspective.
    - There is a significant distortion of African history, with much of the literature focusing on primitive stereotypes rather than the rich cultures and civilisations that existed.
    Contributions of Africans Pre-Columbus
    - Dr Ivan Van Sertima, an anthropologist and historian, argues that Africans had a profound impact on the Americas long before Columbus's arrival in 1492.
    - Evidence suggests that Africans were present in the Americas as early as 800 years before Christ and contributed to early civilisations.
    Archaeological Discoveries
    - Recent archaeological findings have revealed advanced African societies that existed long before European colonisation:- Evidence of Africans producing steel in Tanzania 1500 years before Europeans did.
    - Discoveries of sophisticated astronomical knowledge among Africans, with accurate plotting of star systems long before European astronomers.
    Navigation and Maritime Skills
    - Africans possessed advanced maritime skills, utilising currents to navigate between Africa and the Americas.
    - Evidence indicates that African ships were capable of making transatlantic voyages, and there are records of African presence in America before Columbus.
    Cultural Exchange
    - The video discusses the cultural exchanges that took place between Africans and Native Americans, including trade and the sharing of knowledge.
    - It highlights how Columbus documented encounters with Africans, noting their influence on the formation of certain American civilisations.
    Misrepresentation of African Civilisations
    - There is a critical examination of how African civilisations have been historically misrepresented as inferior.
    - The narrative has often downplayed or ignored the significant achievements of Africans in fields such as metallurgy, agriculture, and architecture.
    Conclusion
    - The video concludes by reinforcing the idea that understanding true African history is essential for acknowledging the contributions of black people to world civilisations.
    - It invites viewers to reconsider the historical narratives they have been taught and to recognise that African civilisations have always been sophisticated and influential.
    Final Thoughts
The video calls for a re-evaluation of historical narratives and encourages audiences to seek out accurate representations of African history, emphasizing the importance of African voices in telling their own stories.

I always thought of my forefathers as being unarmed farmers. To hear your guest speaker claim that they were Kings in America before Columbus. Unimpressed. I will always believe that they were unarmed working farm people. To day my family backgeound are 😂working people, some professional, all regular people. I am also in the working people category before I retired. My people did not have the type of arms that the slave masters had. So they were more easily captured. I will never accept my people of being Kings and Queens. I wish you could hear and see with my ears, the words that you feel are so much better for people to be. Not me kings and Queens are not a part of what I consider to be a good person. These Kings and Queens are stealing, cheating and killing people for their wealth. While are you so proud of such action? Do not include my People in your insecure world.
