We get a ton of snow here in Northern Maine. It’s an awesome opportunity to train my kids how to do these things. While they think “fun snow fort with goofy dad” I also impress upon them it can save their life.

that's a perfect example of how to educate your kids in wilderness ways - fun but with an underlying 'you may need this some day' aspect

Great work on the editing. I like the cold open, followed by the titles, then the story. And, of course, I love the snow, so... Keep 'em coming|

thanks Pumpkin. Just wish we had 'snow on demand' out here - it would be nice to have a little break from subzero temperatures. I still think that it should only be allowed to snow over the Christmas and New Year period, then be banned following that. Insta-Spring on January 3rd...

Thanks for the info and demonstration. While I will likely never need to build one of these, I am glad I know how, just in case.

thanks Goddess :) I'll be honest - it was brutal trying to film in a blizzard, hence no audio

@@CarpathianAdventure lol I can only imagine how challenging it was to do all this and to document it so well also. In a very non patronising way... Well done 👍🏾

Sometimes the most beautiful and enchanting things are immediately deadly to those woefully underprepared…

I was thinking to ask you about your opinion on what happened in Dyatlov Pass incident... it seems to be right time.. so what do you think?

that's actually one of my favourite mysteries. Their actions/reactions suggest a powerful psychedelic, but no drugs were found in their systems. Going by local tradition and lore, it's possible there's an interdimensional portal of some sorts there.
There's a similar case in America called the Yuba County Five.

If I'm packing a shovel I'm packing a tent and a lot of other stuff.

lol. Good luck putting up a tent in a blizzard. The aim is to get out of the storm as fast as possible before you get drenched, frozen and go into hypothermia. Tents don't work in such conditions

In future videos my suggestion dong add audio just natural sounds. Because as per my analysis videos which diesbt have human voice n natural sounds has good amt of likes. Moreover these videos are watched at night so people prefer no human touch....
