Ralph and Wolfgang fly their scratch built Beech-18s are Airliner Treffen Show 2019. I don't think they've flown together before but they did an awesome display for the attending crowd !

Sweet! One of my favorite planes. Growing up, we had an airfield 1 mile from our house and a gentleman had a 'twin beech' and would come there on weekends and fly it. An awesome site for an 8 year old kid. Some awesome flying here today by Ralph and Wolfgang! Thanks for some great camera footage by Dom Mitchell! Cheers, 👍😎

It seems like electric models are styrofoam and easier kit design and most of the large gas models are more handbuilt.

The guy flying the red one needs to stop over-controlling the airplane. There were more than a few instances watching this where I thought he was very close to doing something incredibly dumb. He's either banging the sticks or he has way too much throw in the controls because there are several points where the plane is being over-controlled.
Beautiful airplanes though. Can't wait for a Beech 18 to come to market that's smaller than the 100"+ Ziroli..

Beautiful airplanes but one or both of you will lose them flying that low if an engine quits. Happens all the time in full scale. Not enough reaction time. I saw a full scale twin go in today, all onboard died.
