Actually im pretty satisfied with this version of optimus prime for 27$-€ you get enough he is worth it 100%
Yess, in comparison to the original SS32 or SS44, he is cheaper but is better looking, and have slightly more weapons. And, he is definitely the best KO version of this mold atm!

@@nuggetman4673 The chest hinges on my TW-1022 are looser than the ones on the official, but they are not too loose tho. Maybe you can try putting a few drops of nail polish or floor polish in between the hinges to give them a bit more friction!
The paint on him is soooo good! Getting mine tomorrow, really excited for it!

Also what would you rank the figure from one from ten? And would you recommend it?
Mmmmm, I would give it a solid 8/10 for its appearance and functionality tho. The 2-points losses are because of the loose joints in some parts and the overall plastic wuality
But yess, for its price, I’ll say it is a steal especially if you haven’t gotten any previous versions from Baiwei yet
Damn, he's lookin' good! Who needs the official Studio Series version? Baiwei did good and I made the right choice by buying him. And sure he only has his Energon swords, but an accessory pack they put out more than covers the rest of his accoutrements.
EDIT: I also dig the fact they altered his head so you can swap between his regular face and signature battle mask; an advantage over the Studio Series.
Definitely! A release of the SS32/44 mold with extra paint, with both of the ROTF/DOTM chest pieces, with both of the masked/unmasked faces, and with metal feet is great. Furthermore, he is quite cheap to obtain in comparison to the after-market prices of the SS32/44 figures, which is definitely more realistic for more recent fans to collect this mold
@@TranKollector Honestly, I'll probably also buy the Bumblebee/Rise of the Beasts SS Baiwei toy, considering I'll probably buy the SS Primal toy and that Baiwei's version is far easier to get than the original, crappier Hasbro version.
How have I NOT entered the world of Transformers full-time as an adult (both Hasbro and 3rd/4th party) until now?
@@NebLlebloll, I felt the same way when I found out the existence of the Studio Series figures, MPM figures, and 3rd/4th-party figures in 2018. The figures have become so good in the last fee years. And yesss, the ROTB Optimus Prime figure is extremely gooddd for its price. I’m also waiting to see the Baiwei Optimus Primal that’s supposed to come out soon
For me this is the ultimate movie Optimus in this scale. I'll stain the metallic parts tho so they are a bit darker. Love painting these figures
Yesss! This is the current ultimate TF1/2/3 Optimus in this scale for sureee in terms of shelf appearance. That’s a great idea to make him look more battle-damaged and realistic! I also loveee painting the figures, but I currently keep this one as the ‘pristine’ Optimus with his unmasked face!
In this scale, the most accurate would probably be the Revoltech Optimus
@@themoviescorelad3230The Revoltech Optimus is actually significantly shorter and smaller than this one. It is a Deluxe-Class-scaled and non-transformable Optimus. Plus, its aftermarket price is crazyyyy

@@themoviescorelad3230 Sameee man! Hopefully Trumpeter or Yolopark will tackle the TF1/2/3 design soon, so that we’ll have more affordable options at different scales. Those ones will look way better than the Revoltech mold too. That mold is quite outdated already.

Which one would you recommend? This one or the previous one? I'm considering to buy one but I can't decide which
If you like the TF1,2,3 Optimus Prime design, I’ll recommend this one for sureee! Simply because it has all of the advantages from the previous Baiwei figures, along witch an improved paint job. Plus, the neck part is not made of transparent plastic like some of their previous ones either.

@@TranKollector i just got mine. It's really good. But I'm having difficulty when transforming it. I can't bend the body upwards. Do you have any advices?
@@TheRealJoJo68 You have problems with bending the body upward? Is that about the connection between the top half and the bottom half of the figure? To make sure that you are following the right steps, my advice will be to search for a SS32/SS44 transformation and just follow their steps to transform and it should work .
Is the plastic quality better than last version? Or it just the same?
@@RangerToysStudio The plastic quality is similar to the last version, but surely better than the first version with the transparent neck!
@@TranKollector I have last version which I painted silver my self, I'm confused whether to buy a new one or not.
What about the joint? The previous version become loose when combine with Jetfire
@@RangerToysStudio The joints were tight for the most part, but the arm joints and arm swivels are a bit loose. I got to use the screws driver to tighten up the arm joints. The swivels can probably be tighten up using a bit of nail polish or dry super glue too

@@RangerToysStudio I haven’t tried that yet since I have another Optimus being pretty much permanently combined with Jetfire
Are the joints perfectly tight?
Most of the joints are tight, except the shoulder connections, the bicep swivels, the hand swivels, and the backpack connection. But, the shoulder connections could be tighten up using a screwdriver
@@TranKollector I see, well that means I'll be needing to tighten it up with some Kiki tightener glue
@@xb1ankx That’s great! I may need to use some super glue or just acrylic paint to tighten up the swivels as well
@@TranKollector yeah, with that said. You'd be set honestly, but pro tip. After applying, leave it for several hours to dry
@@xb1ankx I’ll need to learn to wait longer for the super glue to dry as you said. Cuz I accidentally ended up gluing parts permanently quite a few times already 🥲
