Level 1 - Pretty good level, actually. I'd star this one.
Level 2 - Good spin jump practice.
Level 3 - Another decent level. Nice little callback to the Kaizo Mario World intro in the beginning.
Level 4 - Instant pass for me right away from the invisible block trap on the first screen. And it only gets worse from there. Insert episode title here.
Level 5 - Another instant pass, another title drop.
Level 6 - So named because it will lock you up in a crazy house by the time you're done with it.

Another great edit. As much as it's cool when there's time to catch a live stream, the pre-recorded stuff is so much easier to catch on a day to day basis.
Got into watching your super expert no skips recently so decided to move back to the beginning. You seem so much more cheery and less jaded in these early episodes. Not complaining at all about new you, just amusing how cynical the hot garbage has gotten you :’) It’s like at the school I work at comparing the new enthusiastic teachers to the experienced lot haha

see I dont play super mario maker but I love watching these videos. it kinda makes you learn a lot about decision making and hot to calculate when a problems is gonna occur. It's the most self evident videogame ever. plus its really entertaining to watch, except the trash troll levels are just for lols hahaha.

Ryu you should get yourself involved in the speedrun/kaizo commuity of mario! I'd love to see you at gdq, you deserve it
i've been doing the blind kaizo races every week! they're a lot of fun.
Moral of the story: Don't use Magic Koopas in your level unless the cheese is intended.
Level Review:
level 1: Kinda a weird Level. I have the feeling the person had multiple ideas what he wanted to do with his level, but didn't stick with one idea. For Super Expert, not a terrible level
level 2: Ryu calls it not a bad level, but it is a real mean level actually, he just didn't experienced it. The way Ryu took through the level was the only right way, all the other ways he didn't go lead to inevitable dead (with one teasing you with the checkpoint). The level is good and challenging, just also mean.
Level 3: Good level: close thwomp sections, some good platforming and a (somewhat unnecessary) checkpoint.
Level 4: as for a troll level, pretty basic, not that terrible. Only the directors pipe (a pipe hidden somewhere in the level, only the creator knows of and is the only way to beat the level) makes this level bullshit
Level 5: "Fun" cheatdoor (deathdoor), which takes you basically to the ending.... The level was basically a complete enemie spam with forced hits.
Level 6: A weird and bad level. Even though Ryu skipped like a big chunk of the level, it is like unnecessary confusing maze and the ending with magic koopa/bowser spam and a pick-a-door (locked behind a pipe somewhere in the level) was just bad level design, glad Ryu cheesed it.
Man Ryu back then was so different
I actually really liked the second level. It was wierd and trolly at the same time.
