    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  Год назад

      LOL. I think she had her plan already laid out. Anytime we visit the Wildlife Drive in Apopka, Pam moves straight to: "OMG they are going to get me". Getting her out of the truck was a challenge, and the whole time she wanted to get right back in. If we are in the area, we definitely stop by because the it's the only place to see the wildlife in an open preserve and up close for free. It's funny to see Pam's Mom do the exact same thing. We definitely wanted to show some of our walkthrough on the new RV. We hope it helps others to see that taking your time and learning your new RV is so important. Once you drive off the lot....EVERYTHING changes. Now we are headed West and the journey is only just beginning. Don't worry, our DBRV luck will be striking us hard in the next episode. Fun times and great adventures. Big "Thank You" for your amazing support from all of us here. Pam, Lee, the girls, and Tidbit.

    • @discoveryboundrv

      @user-ll6zh2bi7c The fridge was installed wrong and it’s crooked allowing air to get inside the freezer and the whole thing is leaking damaging the wooden cabinet that holds it in. Jayco denied the first claim, and we took it back again. They changed the outer door seal and it didn’t do anything. Now we are going back for the third time. 😀

You will need after market front suspension parts to get the Ford to properly align or your going to fight the steering wheel. It's going to wander.

      LOL. We agree. Our first walkthrough on our 5th wheel was not very helpful. The rep didn't know anything about RV's and never camped in one either. @@discoveryboundrv Amen to that! We vowed to never patronize Crestview Rv again where we bought and sold back to, our previous travel trailer. Nothing was wrong with it, it was a dream! But, their buy back and consignment deals are the worst. We really came out in the red on that, but we decided at the time to not RV u til hubby retired, which he just did in January. But their walkthrough guy was top notch, he knew his stuff. FF to now, we bought our 2016 Class C Winnebago and it was gently used, low miles, quality product. But, the the service department is a low rent circus, and their walkthrough was laughable. Oh well, she is paid off and we’ve also sunk a ton of cash on making safety upgrades. I can’t believe anyone could feel safe driving this beast with just factory equipment under her skirts! Now she purrs like a kitten on the road.

    Hey Congrats on your new purchase. I too bought a brand new Jayco class c but 2 things I disliked was 1st the radio almost totally useless the glare and the angle it’s pointing at can’t turn it towards the driver so it makes it harder to see. 2nd is the extension cord omg what a pain to store it, it’s non detachable and you have to tightly re-roll it outside and try putting it in the little cubby hole! After the 1st week of camping I fix that issue by cutting the cable and installing a smart plug where the connection is inside the cubby compartment.

    I knew that was Lake Apopka right away as we were there in early March. We started out counting the alligators but after awhile we gave up because there were so many. We ran into that same problem of no spare tire on our 2020 Jayco Greyhawk 30XP and carried an unmounted spare in the rear of our toad. Never had to use it but knowing it's there and road service can mount it is comforting. Are you going to pull a car? Don't think the Greyhawk can pull your dually.

      Hi Michael! Not for this RV. Both of our rigs have been brand new off the lot and we have been very lucky so far. We do highly recommend a third party inspector if available. Especially for a used RV purchase. (even more for a used motorized RV). Experience is everything in this business. We look at RV's a whole lot different now, than we did 3 years ago.
