Oh days of future past. Summer will come again. Thanks for waking up warmer memories. And thanks for sharing 👍
You are welcome... We have more summer videos coming out as well. Maybe they can get us through the winter! Thanks for commenting. :-)
@@wyomingjeepers I'm looking forward
We filmed about 10 episodes last summer to get us through the winter, and that's a good thing because we haven't Jeeped with Dan and Elaine since September. We are going for a ride tomorrow (January 7, 2023) for the first time in a month. Can't wait to hit the road again. Thanks for watching.
Also wanted happy holidays and thanks for all the great videos
Thank you. We are glad you appreciate the videos. Happy holidays to you too!
Happy New Year to you and yours! You are welcome for the videos. We have a bunch more filmed waiting to be edited. Next up (since we already released the Fan #2 today) will be our trip to Cooke City, Montana. We've all agreed that the next video is probably the best from last summer.
I don't even have a car but I still watched it. I enjoy your videos, keep em coming : )
Love your comment! Thanks!!
Thanks for watching! Believe me, we don't do these things with our cars; it has to be our Rubicon Jeeps. Otherwise, we'd be stuck out there for sure, and the places we go, we don't really want to be stuck in for very long. Although getting stuck is half the fun, so long as we can get ourselves out. Thanks for watching.
Love everyone's sense of humor.
The bug in your sleeve was hilarious! I jumped too lol
That was pretty funny! Thanks for commenting. :-)
Haha - You never know what to expect next with Elaine. I've spent the past 36 years as her sister-in-law, and she still surprises me. Haha
The reaction to the bug was great....I've never done that (on camera ha ha!).
On camera! :-) my sister Elaine is pretty crazy…. Like her painting her face in the last video on the hoodoos.
Hahaha - The camera has to be rolling to catch clips like the bug incident with Elaine, which is why we have so much video to edit for every show. I keep it rolling because I know Elaine will do something crazy, and I don't want to miss it. Thanks for watching! You have an outstanding show too! Love it!
Thank you for your videos. I enjoy them very much. I used to live in Wyoming but didn't get to see the awesomely beautiful scenery like you show it in 4×4 fashion. I also like the great tire action shots of jeep wheels over the terrain. Reminds me of when we'd go 4 wheeling when I was younger. Appreciate humor and taking us along on your wonderful adventures.
We are happy you are enjoying the videos and get to relive Wyoming! The action shots with the wheels are pretty neat. Thanks to Melissa as she does most of those. Thank you for joining our adventures!
Thank you so much for watching our show and leaving an awesome comment! You ROCK! We are so glad our show brought back great memories for you.
Youdda thought that bug was the size of a dinosaur with even bigger teeth by Elaine's reaction. I've seen horror movies with less screaming 🤣 That was funny!
It did spook her! :-)
LOL - That is SO funny! Love the comment! Thanks for watching and enjoying our show.
Raceline Wheels does not recommend airing up past 25 psi.
Good to know. Thank you.
I noticed the park county library is having an event for authors to sell their products. I'm debating going for my books. I think it's about the 20th of January.
I will be there in Cody on February 4th 9 am - 5 pm. That will be a long day. I think the book sales are from 2-5 pm. I haven't proposed a session and might have missed the deadline. I should check that out. Thanks for the reminder. What do you write?
@AuthorMelissaCook I don't think I'll show but I'll come by
Those look like some fun, yet family friendly trails. My wife didn’t care for the shelf roads last year in the Absarokas lol. We were on the SW side of the Bighorns last year and basically had just enough time to do some dirt roads. Pretty, but I’d hoped for more Jeep terrain.
I saw the maps you provided, but a zoom out would have helped this out of state explorer get an idea where you were in the Bighorns. Got a link to the maps so I could get a good look where you were? Thanks!!
All of the trails on this trip are "family friendly". The one road into the West Fork Big Goose Creek near Sawmill Lake had some boulders to navigate but no shelf roads.
The easiest way to see these trails would be to get a free copy of Gaiagps or Caltopo. Gaia is probably easier. The paid version of Gaia is inexpensive and gives you a lot more layers like the Forest Service maps and more. When in Gaia, search for something we discussed like "sawmill lake" and you will see it pop up in the bighorns and then you can see the road to take you there. Additionally, you can create a route and it will sync to your phone (if you have the app installed on your phone). Then you can guide yourself there with your phone.
I think Caltopo allows to post a public link but I don't use it that much. There is a free version of Caltopo as well.
Good Luck!
@@wyomingjeepers Thanks for the help!
