We head out to the Bighorn Mountains in northeast Wyoming to enjoy the beauty. We setup next to a creek that is crawling with moose and stocked full of trout. My dog Ellie and me head out in the rain, only to be confronted by a huge bull moose and two cow moose!!!

Our daughter lives in Montana so we were able to see Wyoming and the area last summer. Absolutely fell in love. I really wanted to see a Moose and Buffalo, but none showed up. Beautiful video of the whole family.

I especially enjoyed this video segment. My last backpacking trip was to the Bighorn Mts. I was a chaperone for a group of about ten high school seniors who had just graduated. We hiked along the Ten Sleep Falls. Saw moose: one bull, one cow with a calf. Camped three days beside a glacial lake. While hiking along a stream with lots of trout, one of my former students turned to me and said, “Did you ever think you would be with me in Wyoming in the mountains with me on a Sunday morning? “ Something pretty special about those kind of memories

The waterfall was spectacular! Those are the best hikes. Nice trout! The mountains sure are beautiful! The moose are majestic animals, but they can be very dangerous. Thank you for sharing, it really felt like we were there!

I had a golden years ago, probably 20 now, she looked just like Ellie, She loved the water too, once we went camping and a little kid camping next to us had a blow up pool and she saw it, ran straight over and plopped in with the little kid which of course started screaming lol. Fun times. She got ran over by someone on our street, probably workers as houses were still being built but she lost a rear leg and became a great little three legged dog once she figured out how to walk. She was back to being the same old dog and lived a full life.

And we're an hour from the Adirondacks and Vermont lol He thinks it's like trying to find a unicorn 🦄🤣🤣 Can't wait for the next adventure. Like Blake Sheldon's song "It's God's Country " Stay safe. How awesome to see a herd of moose that up close and personal. While at the same time, how terrifying. Between their huge horns and very large and powerful legs and feet, they can kill you if they want to. I’ve never seen moose cavorting like that. So awesome. They may seem tranquil and slow and awkward but they obviously can move fast. What a great place you got blessed with! Thanks for posting.
At Sanna Bay Scotland there is a tin hut which uses to be a church hundreds of years old, people would walk for miles to attend , its still open for anyone who needs to shelter and has all the original Bible's in Gaelic , its so beautiful and peaceful
If you haven't been to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains national park, you must go if she enjoys abandoned old fashioned country churches. There are many of them you can visit. Along with old homes and farms. One of the most Beautiful places in Appalachia. 🙏🏼

Jack, a river runs through it, with the Trout fishing 🎣. Beautiful scenery, loved the Fire Tower lookout and the waterfalls. Those mooses 🫎 sure were pesky, but you and the family with Ellie sure had a good time.

Just beautiful, my dad worked for the civilian conservation corps when he was a teen and built our local park. Your baby Olivia is just so beautiful the same age as my great granddaughter, your daughter is talking now and ours just says a few words, they all catch up.
