Kent, the filter advice is excellent! I did the PSF suck and fill on my 2011 e350 only at approximately 45k and 90k miles. At about 120k I developed a power steering “whine” noise when turning the steering wheel. I then changed the tank with the integral filter. The filter was filthy with grimy sludge. Replacing the tank and fluid did not fix the whine noise. I ended up replacing the power steering pump myself along with another tank and new Pentosin fluid. The pump warranty required an external filter to be installed in the power steering low pressure return line. I used a magnefine brand 3/8” filter in the return line and I like the idea of that external filter.
I cannot for the life of me find how to open the hood on a 190e, the cable for the release is broken from somewhere in the middle, so i cant pull the cable from inside, how can i release the latch to pop the hood open?
you probably will not find it on a video discussing power steering fluid on a C350. But I bet you could google it and someone may have had the same problem,
Only on some of the early models. If you have a tank like this mounted to the power steering pump on the left side of the engine then my kit will work.
Never miss a Mercedes Source post .. Cheers, '94 C124 .. Vail, Colorado
Edit: a '23 E-450 Kombi too . . .

Great video. Excellent content
Great information
I went to source brake and power stearing fluid for my 107s at the dealer. They GAVE them to me!
Great comment. I think some forget that the dealer can be very helpful.
