This calf is just the cutest! ❤ I am loving your channel. you guys are doing amazing with your filming, editing, etc. Don’t mind me asking, but I am just curious why you are bottle feeding the calf?
Tysm!!! Great question! So dairy cows are much different. When the baby is born, she can't be on the momma all the time, or she will get sick and die. So you have to only take what the baby needs from mommas milk and put it in the bottle.👍 all dairy calves are bottle babies. if doing the job correctly.
Yes! They are all full Swiss! BrownSwiss babies are all white, unless it's a chocolate. No, she goes to a family to be an amazing milk cow just like all our other calves did!🥰
Great question! as a dairy farmer, I am happy to answer that! So a Dairy cow produces way too much milk for a calf to consume on its own so all dairy farmers have to take the calf, but part of the milk still goes to the baby and of course the mommas still get to see there babies don't worry 🥰 but let's say we left the baby on the momma well.. if that baby we're to consume all that milk, she would have gotten very sick and possibly died.. so yea! hope this helps!😄
@@AG.Farm.Life.work.smart. Thank you. That answered my question as well! Do the calves learn to nurse from their mamas, or are they strictly bottle fed with her milk?
Follow up question.. Some people just take the calf away at night so they are milked in the morning and then in the evening but the calf has access and the physical care of the mother. What made you choose your way?
Yay!! I prayed for Alia to have a good birth! So happy that little Angel is healthy and she looks happy!❤

@megd7593 they already know how to nurse, but yes, strictly bottle fed, and then we bucket, feed them to ween them.😄
