@@primeredisbest A lot of folks don't know that 77 was a one year only painted trim! I has a 77 Silverado and it to had that yellow painted trim! When i first bought the truck i thought that someone had painted it. God Bless you and Mrs. PIB! Sure hope your felling better and are getting closer to driving some of those great classics that your keeping alive for us to enjoy!
@robertbrouillette407 You're absolutely right about the trim my friend! I wish that you still had it my friend! Beautiful trim! I'm slowly getting better and stronger! I've been doing a lot of praying for healing and it's working! God is Great! I hope that you will have a blessed evening and weekend buddy! God bless you and your family!
It's so true what you said about time. I remember when I was in my 20s, older folks would tell me to enjoy my youth because time goes by faster than you realize. Now I'm older and telling young folks the same thing I was told. 40 years is a long time and it isn't. It seems like a long time when your young but not when you are older on the other side of it. God bless you!
Exactly buddy! I thought the same way as you! When I was younger, and day seemed like 3 days. And now a day seems like 4 hours! It's crazy! Lol. Have a blessed day today buddy!

@DavidHansell-t4o Exactly! That's the same thing that I told my Surgeon the same thing. He said that if I didn't do it now, it might be too late later as my knee and leg were so out of wack! Lol. Thanks buddy!
My other sister in Gulf Breeze, Florida got almost 7" snow yesterday , Here in bangor,Maine just got 8" snow last sunday ,and monday,Tuesday Wednesday temperatures are 14 below zero, ,little above zero during days ,, starting tomorrow Thursday, be back to seasonal temp in 20-30's ,, great square body chevys , dont like starting them in Ice Station Zebra weather,, still pray for your full recovery
I heard that about Florida getting all that snow! That's crazy! I do not think that I would like to live where you do buddy! I don't like snow or cold weather at all! Have a blessed day today my friend and God bless you and your family always!
On those square bodies, 1984 was the first year for the windshield wiper & high beam low beam light switches to be on the steering column, & the first year for black windshield wiper arms & blades which probably happened in mid model year. Before 1984, the windshield wiper switch was on the dash, & the high beam low beam light switch was a little button down on the floor you press down with your foot. Also the windshield wiper arms & blades were chrome before mid model year. 1984 was a good o year. Gas prices were under a dollar a gallon, vehicles didn't have any recalls like the ones today, vehicles had better body designs, Selena Quintanilla the late Tejano singer began to become famous at a young age, & cab over semis were common in semi driving businesses. Good times.
@@primeredisbestI was kind of surprised the factories still put manual steering in some of the square body models when they first began producing them because the steering wheels in the square bodies are smaller than the ones in the previous generation models. A steering wheel with a larger diameter makes it easier to steer with only manual steering. Also I was very surprised to hear that some of the 1988 OBSs had manual steering & manual brakes too because I thought manual steering & manual brakes became obsolete before the OBSs. They say 1988 was the last year for manual steering & manual brakes.
Hey Jimmy, where can I find a horn button for a steering wheel like yours? I didn't see one on the LMC truck web sight. Also, your spray can paint jobs look really good!
I guess that the best place would be Facebook Marketplace or a Swapmeet in your area. Ebay Motors is a good place to look too! Thank you so much for your comment on my Rattle Can Paint jobs! I truly appreciate it! Have a blessed day today buddy!
Yeah a time when 10 bucks could allow you to drive all day in total happiness! Now 10 bucks gives me 3.45 gallons which won't allow me to drive to Walmart and back.
I always wondered how people with these open metal garages in their back yard don't destroy their lawns by taking thei vehicles in and out of their location??? The tire marks will leave marks for sure. And how do you keep the mice and other rodents from getting into the vehicles and destroying the wiring and interiors?
@klwthe3rd I understand your concerns. I don't drive my trucks when the yard is wet. I don't mind tire tracks and I have Glue Traps in my trucks and cars for mice and insects. Thanks buddy!
