    brie favors sharon in the eyes. I feel so sad for what hell the Tate family has been through. I love Sharon she was a sweet girl and so beautiful, Matel made the malibu doll after her which I loved as a child. Sharons image and pictures should be everywhere not those monsters, she was a goddess..

    I think the Author did a fabulous job, Thank you for telling the other side of the story. We have been haunted with the Manson family's side for years.The bottom line is the victims were pulverized by both the "family" and the media, and that was so unfair,they were young vibrant souls that never got to speak for themselves. I read this book and was so proud of a family that had to experience hell on earth and make it right for victims.Kudos to you!

    just finished this book and I strongly recommend people to read it. Full of information you have not heard. God bless the Tate family for their dedication to Sharon and victims' sights. But what I wanna know is what really happened between Debra Tate and the family, as she is hardly mentioned.

      i've been curious about that also, what caused a rift among the family. they say tragedy can either make people closer or tear them apart. no doubt that living with the fact that their daughter/sister was murdered had an extreme impact on the family.

      @@judis6224 yes Debra is now but during her mother and sister Patti's lifetimes she did not fight. Patti's children do not have any relationship with Debra and say that when her mother was dying of cancer Debra lied and told Patti that she made her an appointment with one of the best cancer specialists (one who had a wait list of years!) but when Patti arrived at the clinic she was told no appointment or consult had ever been made for her. When she confronted Debra she was slapped. After that there was no relationship and when Paul died there were stories that Debra seized his body, had him cremated and refused to bury the ashes with Sharon, Doris and Patti in the family plot.

      Paul O'Brien,I know that Debra didn't fight when Patti was doing it,then the parents,then Debra,I thought they were a close unit?it's a nasty thing to do makeing out you make an appointment then don't.you say Paul,are you talking about Sharon's baby?I thought that the baby was still inside her,there was talk of the baby taken out on the night,but then you hear that wasn't true.i don't know how they knew Sharon was having a boy,you couldn't tell in those days,the same in the seventies.why would Debra do that?on one thing she was on,she was being interviewed,she said,not that it's anyone's business,this is what she dressed Sharon in to be out in the coffin,I know she wouldn't be allowed to do that.she sounds like a narcissistic personality.im surprised she sold Sharon's clothes etc.she did a photo shoot where a girl is wearing Sharon's clothes and said no one is wearing Sharon's wedding dress,then sells everything,I don't get it.

    • @PaulDoe79
      @PaulDoe79 3 года назад +4

      @@judis6224 no, Paul was Sharon's father also known as PJ. Debra is a character for sure... unlike Doris and Patti who truly care about victims I believe Debra does this for the fame and money. She was using Sharon's name to get jobs as a model when she posed nude for European magazines and even now when she talks about the crimes in documentaries or interviews she makes sure to include herself in every story so that the audience knows just how important she is. She even makes digs about how Sharon used to rehearse with her for movie roles because (in Debra's words) Sharon claimed "she was the real actress". She talks about how she was the lady of the house while Sharon was in Europe and Roman's friends were staying in their home, insisting she was in the inner Hollywood circles. She constantly lies about details (saying Sharon's throat was cut when it was actually her face) and she claims to be an advocate for victims but dismisses the rape victim of Roman Polanski, insisting it wasn't "really rape rape" despite the fact that the victim was underage and said no while being raped vaginally, orally and anally.

    If you look at Sharon in the Don't Make Waves movie as "Malibu" you can clearly see the Malibu Barbie has her face & smile. I didn't know this till a few years ago and I thought it was a awesome tribute to Sharon. The Malibu doll ran from 1971 till 1982, mattel made a malibu Ken doll that looks alot like Dave Draper her hunky muscle boyfriend in the film and also a Beach bus camper like the one in the film! I told Dave Draper about this and he thought it was funny also!

    It's nice to see the next generation of the Tate family making sure those monsters never get out of prison. All of the Manson Family who was found guilty of those incredible blood baths and torturous murders should all have been executed by now. And any block headed teenager or adult who "worships" or glorifies Charles Manson in any way needs to get their heads examined as well as be locked up tight in a psych ward!

      She was the domestic partner of Patti Tate and as such Paul Tate, Sharon's father, trusted her implicitly. She has PAUL TATE'S sanction for everything she does. Due to things she did on her own, Debra Tate is not the official family spokesperson. There is a letter from Paul Tate in the record that Debra is not allowed to speak at the parole hearings. Alisa is. So saying that Alisa wasn't "part of the family" is not only wrong, but wrong headed. She was as far as Patti was concerned. As far as Patti's children Brie, Brooke and Bryce were concerned. As far as Paul Tate was concerned. So please stop and think. She also has access to all the Tate's private correspondence because that was left to Alisa and Patti's kids.
