- In the 2019 trial against Katherine Magbanua, Wendi Adelson testified that a few after her husband Dan Markel's murder, she and her brother Charlie Adelson met for dinner. She said she had a drink and then vomited at the table because she had barely eaten or had any alcohol since her husband's death. Adelson denied that she or her brother characterized that dinner as celebratory.
Charlie Adelson is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and solicitation in relation to the 2014 murder-for-hire of FSU professor Dan Markel.

One huge problem with the defense's theory : why would criminals with someone on the inside (katie) who believe Charlie has a third of a million in a safe in his home would ever kill his ex brother in law on his behalf and exort him afterwards, risking him going to the police, instead of just, you know, robbing the guy????

Exactly. If you were on a jury? you would have to believe so many obviously unreasonable things to believe this crap. Wendi driving near the crime scene and not experiencing nor expressing any concern for the safety of her own children is very damning. There is no way to explain that away. A jury will convict her. I can hardly wait! The boys are in danger right now. She might try to leave the country with those kids.

So why do you think Katy didn't reveal that Wendy was behind all of this? Do you think Wendi may be paying her?
At virtually no point has he pleaded his innocence in a way an innocent person would do, cry, shout, plead, beg, only guilty people do not do these things, or if they do like wendi its a complete act which is obvious to everyone, especially knowing what part she played, instead they have been laughing and smiling

Why wouldn't Charlie just go online to the FBI website secretly? For God's sake, Dan was murdered, and Charlie made a "hitman" joke to a lot of people.
