I like this video and want this deck. I want to substitute Worm Harvest for a $2 10cmc Primal Surge. It is a sorcery that when played puts ALL permanents from your library onto the battlefield as long as the library only has permanents.
I just built my first EDH deck and lo it's centered around Muldrotha. This popped up in my feed so I thought I'd check it out. With my limited collection I was glad to see a lot of the cards I added in it! This offered great insight thanks!
A couple of cards I've been knocking around for Muldrotha are Mortivore and Sewer Nemesis. Mortivore is like Splinterfright without the mill and Mortivore is a little more pricey ($1.50) but you can choose yourself and it will grow the more you cast. Like always a great deck tech and I can't wait for the next .
This video came out just in time when I bought Muldrotha for a new EDH deck at my local game store. A very good breakdown, with commendable points of interest all around. Keep it up!
I gotta say with around a 200$ budget, using the creature base from this, you could throw in some serious land upgrades and make this a seriously competitive deck!! Thanks for all the ideas!!
I love that Mirror-Mad Phantasm is getting some love here. I've had it in my Mimeoplasm deck for ages and it has only disappointed once. (And that one time gave me a good story so no complaints here!)
The mending of dominaria is pretty sweet in this deck. Also I play with a little of instants and sorceries like: grapple whit the past, dark deal. Also scribe of the mindful, ramunap excavator y splendid reclamation :3
Definitely considered all of those cards! I didn't end up including them for various reasons. Mending shuffles your graveyard back into your library, and the lands that I'd gain from that didn't outweigh then loss of my graveyard. Instants and Sorceries I stayed away from since I wanted to focus on permanents to ensure that everything could be cast out of my graveyard. Excavator is a great card, but was too pricey for the budget!
Putting cards like Scribe of the Mindful and The Mirari Conjecture are sweet ways for me to play instants and sorceries with Muldrotha. But that's just how I play with her.
Before I sold my entire magic collection 3 years ago, I had a nasty graveyard deck around kharador. I have been working on a similar muldrotha deck since I got back into magic for the past few months. Some of your cards I have in my deck, some I have different. This is the first video i've seen from you and i LOVE it. i have a non-budget version of this and you showed me a few cards that i need to put in and now my friends will truly hate my muldrotha. subscribed
The deck looks actually kinda fun, sure there are some cards that could be switched out but its cool. I like how these videos help people get a cheap ready to play deck at a affordable price. I like building my decks from a list and then from there, I use the skeleton part of the deck and upgrading it to my own play style. So these video ideas actually help build the decks faster for me without having to spend a lot on making the decks.
Well Mitch, thanks to this video I was able to build my long wanted Muldrotha deck under a budget and use some of my own goodies to "tweak" it. As I said before, you are a magician bro! Thanks !!!
I built a Muldrotha Commander after Cracking a foil one from a pack and it's really fun. I went for a more quick ramp, big creatures strategy for it. Really happy to see that some of my picks were in the video, since I pretty much just built off of my old collection of cards. I'll take a to get some of the cards you suggested to upgrade it! Great video btw :)
I like using Vampire Hexmage and Legacy's Allure in Muldrotha. Hexmage can remove counters from sagas so you can keep them on the battlefield before they pop or have a repeatable planeswalker killer. Allure is repeatable creature stealing, albeit a little slow.
Been watching the channel for a little bit and I am loving all of these deck techs. I play budget and non budget styles and all of the decks are great for beginners and veterans alike. Keep up the good work guys! Can't wait for more!
Hey Mitch! So I loved this deck tech most of all and already had a Muldrotha so I figured I’d build one and put a little spin on it here and there. One thing I found is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE for the reasonable upgrades, Helm of the Host. If you use the original Muldrotha’s graveyard play up on MP1 then make the token on combat, on MP2 you can use token Muldrotha’s graveyard play. Rinse and repeat every following turn for an absolute nightmare of a board for your friends!
@Jehovah I use Jace, Wielder of mysteries. If you draw a card and have none you win the game. Also Cranial archive is nice if you want to prevent 30 cards in your grave from being exiled
If you are really worried, add any of the following; Midnight Clock, Elixir of Immortality, Enhanced Surveillance, Mnemonic Nexus, Clear the Mind or Quest of Ancient Secrets.
I used to run a Mirror mad Phantasm in a Splinter frights self milk turbofog standard deck winning with the Laboratory maniac- using Increasing ambition and a fire ball for the win! Memories
The next set will offer so many options with Surveil to put cards into graveyard instead of on bottom, and some awesome golgari legends. Oh, also that under-whatevery keyword ability would work for the deck too. Also, I really loved the video and look forward to many more.
Spore frog and glacial chasm are two nice cards for future inclusion on this deck. Once you have ramped some lands you can afford playing glacial chasm some times and locking players without paying mana.
I just found 2 fantastic lands that are super cheap and provide a lot of protection for muldrotha: Safe Have - Land - $0.25: 2, Tap: Remove target creature you control from the game. At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice Safe Haven. If you do, return each card removed from the game with Safe Haven to play under its owner's control. Endless Sands - Land - $0.19: Tap: Add C to your mana pool. 2, Tap: Exile target creature you control. 4, Tap: Sacrifice Endless Sands: Return each creature card exiled with Endless Sands to the battlefield under its owner's control.
This deck is great on fair match ups. Got stomp on some infinite turns deck and other in a damage equal to my life. But in more casual settings this runs great. Great channel.
i am a experienced muldrotha player and on a much higher budget, but i say you did a great job on this one! The only thing i missed a lot on the build is more artifact and enchantment removal, as a graveyard deck, theres a lot of stuff that stops your recursion and you should probably get more answers, also since your strategy favors the a long game, you should be disrupting your opponents on that way.
I built this deck in its base form. Then added the suggested improvements. I love to play it. I've made a few tweaks. I found the one planeswalker was a bit fragile and I didn't get enough out of it. Yeah, it would be nice to pull it out again and again. I swapped it out for Pattern of Rebirth. Animate dead lets me pull creatures from graveyards, but not all the cards I want are there. I like to pull what I need. I like to get something like Sidisi, Undead Vizier. Then the sky's the limit! I also added Yavimaya Hollow. I bought a lot of cards during Urza's block. Its not a cheap card. It does, however, give you one more way to protect your commander. Thanks again CC!
Your golden pig pick this time around was the first card I put into my own muldrotha build! Such a good card for the deck and not one I see other people use too often. Glad you included it
The quality you have in these videos and brewing is nuts, much deserved spike in subs and popularity. Really curious how effective you could make a Xantcha deck on such a low budget
Thanks! I actually don't have a Xantcha deck planned as of right now, but off the top of my head you could literally just slot her into the Lyzolda deck to replace Lyzolda. Would win in the exact same way and the deck would work the same.
Awesome vids man, really helpful! I got myself the anthology 2 mimeoplasm deck and got some upgrades for it. Some cards people can consider: greenseeker and compulsion are both great ways of progressing your engine; dakmor salvage and stinkweed imp will mill you out in no time (golgari grave troll as well); monastery siege works really well as it basically draws you two cards; havengul lich as a little proxy of muldrotha if you can't get her out; grimoire of the dead is a neat little card that can turn the tide for you if your opponets don't deal with it; steel hellkite is also something I got, but I might replace it with pernicious deed; and mulldrifter is a must in any recursion deck! Keep up the amazing work, I'm looking forward to the next deck :)
Oh nice and yeah it's a great format to play with! And you never know! Could play together sometime if you and your friends are at a shop or tournament that I am at as well!
Just ordered the deck! The price was a little over $25 for me, but I won't go bellow lightly played. Being new to commander I am super happy to have a deck that I can grow into.
The Commander's Quarters first run through was super fun! I played a game against two of the 2018 decks and another homemade deck. It felt really solid and had very few weak spots. Unless someone exiles the graveyard they can only delay the deck.
To go along with an idea in this vid, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and Path of Discovery is a great combo with an amazing focus in a deck, while still able to use Muldrotha in the deck as well.
Wow man, awesome video! I have been playing magic for 5-6 years, but I never really got into commander until a couple of weeks ago. My first (and only deck for now) is U/B phenax graveyard/mill deck. It works great in 1v1, but not so much in 3 or 4 player commander. I mean, it is kind of a mill deck after all 😂. Anyway, this deck tech is great. I might adopt it and add a few cards from the U/B deck just to see what will happen. I really enjoy your budget videos man and I look forward to seeing your channel grow!
Although not necessarily cheap, Seedborn Muse/Prophet of Kruphix and Vedalken Orrery make excellent upgrades. With Orrery out, you can play more cards of each permanent type per turn cycle, but when combined with Muse/Prophet, EVERY turn is your turn. If you manage to combine this with Mindslaver, you can quickly outnumber everybody. Controlling every one else and just forcing them to kill each other at record speeds.
The Muldrotha build I've been working with is mostly dies triggers and emerge eldrazi. But I see that there are a lot of cards I hadn't heard of which could be fun alongside my emerge eldrazi.
Im building a muldrotha deck that’s around $69. It’s got fairly priced lands (especially crowd lands) and it has time stretch in there to annoy my opponents late game. Very excited to play it.
Although quite pricy at around 6 dollars, Journey to eternity is a great enchantment that can protect muldrotha and Can be great creature recursion when muldrotha isn’t on the battlefield. You might even risk putting muldrotha in the graveyard to cheat it in later
eternal witness is a great upgrade, allows you to also recast instant/sorceries. gives you more options for boardwipes/wincons. i also find avenger of zendikar a must in this deck
Heres a short list of cards I found to be very useful in this deck, Quest for the Gravelord, Embodiment of Spring, thrashing Brontodon, Travelers Amulet, Kaya's Ghostform and Cursecatcher. I went towards a more controlling deck, even including two enchantments that let me control my opponents creatures.
Love this deck as an alternative for my Muldrotha deck (worth thousands of dollars) for playing in lower power play groups because sometimes a turn 3/4 Infinite combo win is a bit much
Great episode, I'll likely be purchasing this as a skeleton to upgrade into. That said I did notice your removal package doesn't have much in the way of targeted removal that can deal with black creatures. My own meta means I'll need to change that. So for those folks like me with a meta more heavy in black mana creatures consider Sinister Concoction and Banewhip Punisher. They both have downsides, the first makes you discard a card and the second doesn't work against +1 counter strategies, but they both will deal with black creatures.
However a lot of his "removal" is multi-opponents and blanket. So a sac that hits every player once does more workand works around Hexproof which is becoming more and more standard in Precons.
Great tech;. Love Muldrotha. I like your inclusion of Attunement. Going to make that change in mine, too. Another enchantment worth considering would be Oath of Druids.
After the release of Guilds of Ravnica I think vraska, golgari queen and izoni, thousand-eyed make great additions to the deck. Vraska is a bit on the expensive side but izoni is only a dollar give or take. Implement of Examination makes a good reoccurring card draw card as well.
Hey I pulled a foil muldrotha and I'll look into building a commander deck like this. This channel is amazing... how many people are working on it? Editing quality is really great and it looks like soooo much work... I hope (and think) this channel will skyrocket in subs/views good luck :D hope you see this easiest sub in a while
Something really old that you missed was Vanishing. True, it takes up a lot of blue, but a lot of cards in this list already do a fair amount with specific colored mana, so it shouldn't be that bad, especially with the level of ramp. Anyway, since Muldrotha is more or less only useful on our own turn, Vanishing ensures that you get to keep Muldrotha safe from absolutely everything, if you don't mind looking up the rulings on phasing. And best part? A played version of this card is a dime, near mint is a quarter. Hooray for obscurity!
Muldrotha is indeed a power hungry trap. There are always upgrades, and since Innistrad block basically needs paged through for this commander.. Personally, I would mention Muldrotha as a poor man's Crucible of Worlds too. 1x Strip Mine effect can start to play havoc. +1 for Possesed Portal tech
Hey what do you think about Desecrated Tomb? 3 colorless - Artifact - Whenever one or more creature cards leave your graveyard, create a 1/1 black Bat creature token with flying. Market Price: $0.41 Or Zombie Infestation? 1 Black 1 Colorless - Enchantment - Discard two cards: Put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield. Market Price: $0.33 Another creature similar to burnished heart bu cheaper: Yavimaya Elder - 2 Green - 1 Colorless - When Yavimaya Elder is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may search your library for up to two basic land cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. If you do, shuffle your library. 2 Colorless, Sacrifice Yavimaya Elder: Draw a card. Market Price: $0.41
Hey great suggestions! I think desecrated tomb is too slow and underwhelming in this deck, can do much more powerful things. Infestation is a little better, and would definitely work even better around a Zombie build. Yavimaya Elder is great but since he just gets the lands and doesn't actually ramp you, I personally would keep him out of the deck.
Hi just a suggestion, a deck that would be perfect on a budget would be Talrand, sky summoner. It is a very fun dirty control deck and I feel that you would be able to make a truly competitive deck for just £25.
I think this is a nod to your deckbulding but these budget decks never hold up their budget for more than a year or two lol Im gonna start building your decks and sitting on them and wait for the value to rise XD
I've been talking to a couple people I play EDH with about wanting to build a Muldrotha deck, as it is GY recursion, which is something I've never tried before. I haven't played a ton of decks since I started back into MTG, playing EDH (Only format I play). Also, I work swing shift, so I have to play on MTGO or don't play at all.. So I predict cards will be even cheaper :) .. Looking forward to building this deck! (Warning: I am really bad a deck building, so I try to outsource that stuff whenever I can. Keep that in mind when reading below, as I very well could be wrong.) I can think of 3 good cards I will want to put in the deck that isn't in the tech (2 arn't in the tech, as they arn't permanents and are out of the budget range, 3rd is just a little out of the price range). Cyclonic Rift (for obvious reasons), Rite of Replication and Helm of the Host... have Splinterfright on the board? Rite of Replication to make 5 more! 6 Spliterfrights now!! Even if they are only 5/5 at the time, that's still 30 power you can be swinging with, and can get even higher quickly. Or do Rite on a creature one of your opponents have that looks scary! .. (next part is in theory, as I have not done it nor seen it done with Muldrotha yet) Helm of the Host, equip on Muldrotha, and now you can cast multiple of each permanent type each turn! You have 2 Muldrotha's, now you can cast 2 enchantments, 2 creatures, etc., on each of your turns. Plus, it's another 6/6 to attack or block with. And helps you keep your engine going if someone does targeted removal of Muldrotha (although.. which one will they remove? hehe). Each turn, you keep getting another Muldrotha token, making her engine become even better. As I said, those 3 cards are out of the budget range for paper decks, but if you already have a lot of decks (that have blue for Cyclonic and Rite), think of the cost of the cards, spread out between all those decks. Cyclonic Rift is as low as $19.99(NM) on Card Kingdom or as low as 0.19 tix for on Card Hoarder(MTGO). Rite of Replication is as low as $6.49(NM) on Card Kingdom or as low as 0.03 tix on Card Hoarder(MTGO). Helm of the Host is as low as $2.79(NM) on Card Kingdom or as low as 0.01 tix on Card Hoarder. So these 3 cards I have in mind, are very much in the budget range for a MTGO deck. If you only play in paper, $20 for a single card (Cyclonic Rift) might seem like a lot, but if you put it in 3 other decks in blue, then it's like a $5 card for each of those decks. Cyclonic Rift is pretty much an auto-add for any blue deck.
Both versions of Sidisi, Dreamscape Artist, and Havengul Lich are a few more cards that are crazy good with Muldrotha. Dreamscape Artist is like a Harrow on legs, and Havengul Lich is especially good because it basically lets you bring more creatures back than Muldrotha would normally allow. Sidisi, Undead Vizier is of course quite a bit over budget for this deck, but Brood Tyrant is cheap. Skullbriar is also insane with Muldrotha because you don't care if it dies. Plaguecrafter is also a must now that Guilds of Ravnica is out, it's even better than Fleshbag Marauder.
archfiend of depravity would be a great way to control your opponents board. at the beginning of each opponents end step, they chose two creatures and sacrifice the rest. it could be a game changer and its only .99c
I like the fact that the upgrades section isn't immediately $200 cards. Most budget deck tech have their upgrades section feature stuff like mana crypt and cavern of souls, which make any deck great but not before burning a hole in your wallet.
100% agree! Yeah I am not going to recommend a card in the reasonable upgrades, that I actually wouldn't consider buying myself.
The Commander's Quarters it's cool, but another section like "expensive upgreades" Will be good, with cards that have a great interaction with the deck, no cards like mana crypt or senseis divining top... Those cards are useful in all commander decks. Cool video, so much thanks!
The editing and quality in this is way too high for you guys to only have 2.5k subs. The only way to go from here is up.
Appreciate the compliment! Just started a month ago and I am blown away by the positivity and support I have gotten so far from this amazing community!
Yeah, for real. There’s so much content here and it’s all arranged nicely, I thought this channel was way bigger until I checked he sub count. Keep up the great work, I really enjoy watching these!
Well thank you, and I hope you enjoy the upcoming deck techs!
4 days later they have 5.5k. Looks like you caught them early in what looks like could be a resounding success!
Yeah it's been a crazy ride so far! Excited to see where it can go from here!
Fun rules interaction for Pernicious Deed - pay 0 for X to kill only tokens if someone is swarming. Thought I'd share since many don't know or think of that.
Definitely good to point out! Yeah Pernicious Deed can wreck token decks very easily.
I do the same thing with steel hellkite
Oh nice! Another great card
But be careful of destroying your own 0 cost artifacts, did that once to my everflowing chalice by accident though it does allow you to multi-kick it for more later on in a Muldrotha deck.
ACKCHYUALLY it destroys tokens without mana cost, token copies (Rite of Replication and similar) have mana costs.
I was trying to build a deck for a commander league where there is a $100 price limit on your deck when I stumbled onto your channel. This deck left me dazed.... as did my opponents once I played it.
How you explain tactics and the deck build was very clear and concise, and your video editing is top notch. Subscribed! Keep up the great work!

Juno NiGHTS how did the Muldrotha deck do, that you made.
There is one card that is just PERFECT for this deck, I don't think you've included it : Demon Apocalypse. His power and toughness are equal to the number of cards in the graveyard AND you have to sacrifice a creature to untap it. This is just incredible, with a chupacabra for example !
A good consideration!
I think I just stumbled upon a diamond in the rough! This is a gem of a channel! Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying it!
Easily one of my favorite commander channels, nice job my dude
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the deck techs!
I have a half finished Muldrotha deck on my shelves I've just been waiting for a budget build for. Thanks so much for this!
Nice! Glad I could help!
Same. My Muldrotha deck was really just my first ever Commander deck that I threw together with what I had in my collection. this channel is so good. I dont know why people think they need competitive decks for casual play. For newbies, 25 dollar deck techs are a godsend, especially in this format.
Absolutely!
You are quickly becoming one of my favorite MTG you tubers in fact I'm putting you in my top 3.
Well thank you, I am honored! May I ask who I am up there with?
Of course! The Professor and SBMTG, I like that you all champion budget gaming. Magic can be expensive on the competitive level and this can intimidate players, by being able to play budget anybody can enjoy the game. To me this is very important cause while I do have a competitive Modern deck I also am able to enjoy the more casual formats, heck on a strictly fun level I like casual formats more!
Both fantastic channels! I 100% agree that budget opens up the door for everyone to enjoy the game!
I also put this in my top three but the other 2 are Commanders Brew and
Budget MTG Decks. I might even place this above the other two, just that they have more videos as they've been at it longer. Keep up the great work.
Looks like I need to make more videos ;)
And thank you! I am honored!
This is excellent. Please continue producing this series!
Thanks! And that's the plan!
How have I not found you yet, this is amazing quality and the deck was well done. I think this will be the first time I actually want notifications from a channel.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Excavator is a great card, but was too pricey for the budget!
Putting cards like Scribe of the Mindful and The Mirari Conjecture are sweet ways for me to play instants and sorceries with Muldrotha. But that's just how I play with her.
Definitely another way to go about it with Muldrotha! Personally I like to sticking to just permanents so that I know I can always get something back.
A great consideration! And there are definitely more reasonable upgrades you can put in for board removal (Oblivion Stone for example)
Before I sold my entire magic collection 3 years ago, I had a nasty graveyard deck around kharador. I have been working on a similar muldrotha deck since I got back into magic for the past few months. Some of your cards I have in my deck, some I have different.

This is the first video i've seen from you and i LOVE it. i have a non-budget version of this and you showed me a few cards that i need to put in and now my friends will truly hate my muldrotha. subscribed
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
Definitely! You need to make the deck your own!
Well Mitch, thanks to this video I was able to build my long wanted Muldrotha deck under a budget and use some of my own goodies to "tweak" it. As I said before, you are a magician bro! Thanks !!!
That's awesome! Glad to help!
One of my favorite decks so far. Great job, guys!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like using Vampire Hexmage and Legacy's Allure in Muldrotha. Hexmage can remove counters from sagas so you can keep them on the battlefield before they pop or have a repeatable planeswalker killer. Allure is repeatable creature stealing, albeit a little slow.
Both great considerations for the deck! Never thought of using Hexmage like that!
Video Content, Quality of Editing, Sound ... man your videos should have 200k each minimum. Great work I'm a fan!
200k...a guy can dream haha. And thank you!
Oh man, I've been wanting a EDH deck for this since it was spoiled!
You will have to let me know if you end up giving it a try!
Been watching the channel for a little bit and I am loving all of these deck techs. I play budget and non budget styles and all of the decks are great for beginners and veterans alike. Keep up the good work guys! Can't wait for more!
Wow! This is amazing for someone like me who wants to start in on commander!
Wish I had found this channel a few years ago! =)
Glad you are enjoying it!
And actually I just started the channel a little over a month ago, so don't be too hard on yourself haha
Thanks for making the channel then!
That would be a nightmare haha
Holy crap I stumbled onto your deck tech and this is awesome. I will be watching all of your other videos now :) Thanks for the content.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you enjoy the other deck techs just as much!
* Excitedly puts this deck together to try out*
* Opponent pulls out their Anafenza commander deck*
* Cries*
Haha yeah some decks have an achilles heel
Memories
That's awesome!
The next set will offer so many options with Surveil to put cards into graveyard instead of on bottom, and some awesome golgari legends. Oh, also that under-whatevery keyword ability would work for the deck too.
Also, I really loved the video and look forward to many more.
Absolutely!
Spore frog and glacial chasm are two nice cards for future inclusion on this deck. Once you have ramped some lands you can afford playing glacial chasm some times and locking players without paying mana.
Both are great reasonable upgrades!
I just found 2 fantastic lands that are super cheap and provide a lot of protection for muldrotha:
Safe Have - Land - $0.25:
2, Tap: Remove target creature you control from the game. At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice Safe Haven. If you do, return each card removed from the game with Safe Haven to play under its owner's control.
Endless Sands - Land - $0.19:
Tap: Add C to your mana pool.
Thanks!
i am a experienced muldrotha player and on a much higher budget, but i say you did a great job on this one! The only thing i missed a lot on the build is more artifact and enchantment removal, as a graveyard deck, theres a lot of stuff that stops your recursion and you should probably get more answers, also since your strategy favors the a long game, you should be disrupting your opponents on that way.
Thanks! All valid points and the deck can definitely be adjusted to deal with playgroups that run a lot of graveyard hate!
You have a list?
Glad you included it
It’s a great card!
Spore frog is also good for preventing combat dmf
The quality you have in these videos and brewing is nuts, much deserved spike in subs and popularity. Really curious how effective you could make a Xantcha deck on such a low budget
Thanks! I actually don't have a Xantcha deck planned as of right now, but off the top of my head you could literally just slot her into the Lyzolda deck to replace Lyzolda. Would win in the exact same way and the deck would work the same.
@@TheCommandersQuarters will take a look when I get the chance, rakdos has always been fun for me
Sounds good! Yeah Rakdos is a good time!
I love your channel, I found it two days algo and I am in love with your great work.
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words!
All great cards to consider!
And thank you, I am glad you are enjoying them!
I really hope you bring a Jund Commander deck tech like prossh or something like that
I have a few more episodes lined up, you never know!
Maybe vaevictis?
Definitely a sweet commander! And one that has an effect that is fun to build around!
You should do one on gyrus
These deck techs are so good like I wish you could be our fourth player in our pod cause these deck fit the exact criteria we play with
Oh nice and yeah it's a great format to play with!
And you never know! Could play together sometime if you and your friends are at a shop or tournament that I am at as well!
Just ordered the deck! The price was a little over $25 for me, but I won't go bellow lightly played. Being new to commander I am super happy to have a deck that I can grow into.
Nice! You will have to let me know how it plays for you!
The Commander's Quarters first run through was super fun! I played a game against two of the 2018 decks and another homemade deck. It felt really solid and had very few weak spots. Unless someone exiles the graveyard they can only delay the deck.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!
This deck tech is FANTASTIC.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was great! I stumbled across this video randomly and I was just planning on building a commander with muldrotha, thanks a lot :)
ive never heard of hesitation ill have to buy a couple copies of that card now.
Yeah hesitation is pretty hilarious in multiplayer. Lunar Force is another one for you to consider if you like hesitation.
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words and your support! Phenax is pretty fun, but yeah he is much more effective in 1v1.
Most definitely! Only thing with these suggestions - Prophet of Kruphix is currently illegal in commander.
Oof. I didn't get the memo. XD
I may be missing something, but Muldrotha only lets you play out of the graveyard on your turns.
@@SirSparrowify
Huh. My mistake. Thank you, I doubt I would have caught that.
I've been binging this channel lately, such good content. Keep it up!
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it!
The Muldrotha build I've been working with is mostly dies triggers and emerge eldrazi. But I see that there are a lot of cards I hadn't heard of which could be fun alongside my emerge eldrazi.
Oh nice! That's a really cool way to go about it as well!
Great content clearly explained, the concept of this series is superb. You have acquired another subscriber, thank you.
Thank you for your support!
Im building a muldrotha deck that’s around $69. It’s got fairly priced lands (especially crowd lands) and it has time stretch in there to annoy my opponents late game. Very excited to play it.
The uncommon Ob Nixilis from War of the Spark is a beast, it throws something in the bin and draws you two cards.
Thank you for this awesome budget deck. I just bought this deck list for $50. Cant wait to try it out on my friends
Although quite pricy at around 6 dollars, Journey to eternity is a great enchantment that can protect muldrotha and Can be great creature recursion when muldrotha isn’t on the battlefield. You might even risk putting muldrotha in the graveyard to cheat it in later
Absolutely!
How does this channel have so little subs? Anyway love the channel,ur the only channel doing a good job of this budget stuff
The channel just started up about a month ago, but we are growing quick! And glad you are enjoying the channel!
This was awesome. You, sir, have earned a subscription!
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the support!
Thank you. Everything was very clear & easy to understand.
eternal witness is a great upgrade, allows you to also recast instant/sorceries. gives you more options for boardwipes/wincons. i also find avenger of zendikar a must in this deck
I really enjoy your videos. Could you add a goldfish play through at the end to see how it plays? Keep up the good work!
I am actually talking with a videographer right now, so that I can do some actual gameplay videos in the future, so stay tuned!
Built Muldrotha this week and completely missed Phantasm. Thanks for the heads up on that!
Glad I could help! He is pretty sweet
Love this deck as an alternative for my Muldrotha deck (worth thousands of dollars) for playing in lower power play groups because sometimes a turn 3/4 Infinite combo win is a bit much
Liliana Vess would probably be a fun card to play in this deck
Definitely could be!
Can't wait to see how some of the new surveil cards can fit into this build. Maybe an update video after GRN?!
Surveil is a great mechanic for this deck!
Coming back to this deck two years later and this deck at its cheapest is still over 100 dollars
Yep! Definitely a good idea to adjust for your meta!
I love it, I would recommend taking a look at adding fleet swallower as well though
Love this deck started working on it this week. A couple of other cards to add siren storm tamer and stitched together
Good considerations!
Another one I came across Hermit Druid
A good reasonable upgrade!
After the release of Guilds of Ravnica I think vraska, golgari queen and izoni, thousand-eyed make great additions to the deck. Vraska is a bit on the expensive side but izoni is only a dollar give or take. Implement of Examination makes a good reoccurring card draw card as well.
All great considerations!
Hey I pulled a foil muldrotha and I'll look into building a commander deck like this.
This channel is amazing... how many people are working on it? Editing quality is really great and it looks like soooo much work... I hope (and think) this channel will skyrocket in subs/views good luck :D hope you see this easiest sub in a while
Oh nice!
Thank you! Actually, I am the only one working on it ;)
It is a ton of work, but well worth it! Thank you for your support!
loved it so much, i love how you do budget decks for people like me beecause im broke
Glad you enjoyed it!
Best Magic Channel EVER!
Thank you!
Definitely going to put this together and try it out. Thanks for the awesome deck tech!
A very obscure card and a great consideration for the deck to keep her alive!
I stuck siren stormtamer and ochran assassin in this deck. Pure profit.
Nice!
I really like you guys’ deck techs I’m surprised you don’t have more subscribers, so here take mine!
Haha well thank you! Just started a little over a month ago and we are growing at a decent rate right now, so here's hoping it continues!
I love muldrotha...def gonna try this deck
Nice! You will have to let me know how it plays for you!
Hey what do you think about Desecrated Tomb?
3 colorless - Artifact - Whenever one or more creature cards leave your graveyard, create a 1/1 black Bat creature token with flying. Market Price: $0.41
Or Zombie Infestation?
1 Black 1 Colorless - Enchantment - Discard two cards: Put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield. Market Price: $0.33
Another creature similar to burnished heart bu cheaper:
Yavimaya Elder - 2 Green - 1 Colorless - When Yavimaya Elder is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may search your library for up to two basic land cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand.
What do you think about:
Vanishing - Enchantment Aura - U
UU: Enchanted creature phases out.
Market price $0.25.
A great consideration!
My first deck from this channel I'm building
Awesome deck list dude. Thanks for another amazing video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Lots of cards I didn't consider. Thank you.
No problem!
I found your channel yesterday but damn I really like it
Glad you are enjoying it!
You could also use Blooming Marsh as a land for black and green. I don't know what this price is, but it's a fun card for early game
Definitely a reasonable upgrade at $4.49!
Some of the best mtg content I've seen!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Hi just a suggestion, a deck that would be perfect on a budget would be Talrand, sky summoner. It is a very fun dirty control deck and I feel that you would be able to make a truly competitive deck for just £25.
Would be a fun one! Maybe in the future!
Perfect video! More "reasonable" upgrades for us with a bit bigger budget :) or maybe versions of decks with a 50$ budget or 75$.
Thanks! Yeah in the future might revisit these decks to show how they would look like with a $50 budget or so
@@TheCommandersQuarters revisited decks should be 75 to 100 bucks imo
Definitely could be! Would be a series of videos that is much further down the road though
Keep that in mind when reading below, as I very well could be wrong.)
I can think of 3 good cards I will want to put in the deck that isn't in the tech (2 arn't in the tech, as they arn't permanents and are out of the budget range, 3rd is just a little out of the price range).
Great tech! Thanks Mitch!
Thank you for the support!
archfiend of depravity would be a great way to control your opponents board. at the beginning of each opponents end step, they chose two creatures and sacrifice the rest. it could be a game changer and its only .99c
