RULES
Playing on the "third version" of every gen (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, etc)
Butterfree only for battles (other Pokemon are allowed for HMs/TMs)
No using items on Butterfree mid-battle (X-items, potions, etc)
No accuracy lowering/evasion raising moves (Sand Attack, Double Team, etc)
Rival's starter Pokemon is always the most dangerous one (usually the fire starter)
Required to fight all bonus fights (Gym Leader/Elite 4 rematches, any extra "boss trainers")

Flannery's failed Helping Hand strategy is amusing.
It is frustrating that they made interesting double battle fights for this game, but put them somewhere so esoteric.
