The thing about the wedding band. Is it a symbol of love and affection for God and loved- one or an adornment. I never even see if a woman has a wedding band. It is not the same as jewelry like necklace, wrist bands, ear rings, etc. A wedding band is not a deal breaker (not the unpardonable sin) unless it is more important to a person than God (which is rediculace). Jesus is said to wear a Crown and that is symbolic and quit possibly literal. God instructions commanded the adorning of His Sanctuary on Earth literally with gold.
