Thank you, Jennifer! Man, what layers of beauty! That aqua with the white embossed bird and you put the silver embossed thanks over the bird was amazing! I also love the white pigment ink fern branches over the teal background! ♥
Jennifer they are all beautiful....I mean really dreamy and magical. My all time favorite is the hummingbird in blues with the flowers...it is so dramatic and striking I fell in love with all the colors....It just blew me away with it's beauty. I saved this video and I know I will look at it again and again as there are so many things to remember but one thing I won't forget is how that blue hummingbird took my breath away. Fabulous and fantastic...........just awesome...................pat
Hi Jennifer ~ The ethereal look you've achieved with these cards is absolutely stunning. Love the idea of layering the inks like you've shown here and since we're in for another big snowstorm this week it gives me a great excuse to experiment. Thanks for sharing and I hope your week is off to a great start. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Love this technique. These cards turned out beautiful. The bird stamp set would make great masculine cards too. I’m always looking for sets just for that reason. Great tutorial Jennifer, thank you.
Love, love, love getting your videos. They are so informative, not dragging on forever but to the point. Thank you soooo much for your time and information.
Wow you never cease to amaze at your great use of products we have on hand...ie: your use of your eraser to add white dots. Love it. Your cards are beautiful. Thank you.
GREAT TECHNIQUES here, Jennifer! LOVE the soft, dreamy colors, and the backgrounds, too! Fun to learn how to stamp n’ emboss over an already embossed image! I’ve never done that before....and am anxious to try it out myself! I did really like the look it created! :-)) I, too, have ordered some of the CONNECT glue from Gina, and can’t wait to try it out! Glad you’ve experimented with it and gave it a “thumbs up”! Must say, tho’, there really aren’t any Gina K products that I don’t usually “love”! Happy Stampin’ n’ Creatin’! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us! :-))
Hi Jennifer, Thank you so much for your hours of inspiration. You are always the person I turn to for inspiration. Those are beautiful. Have you ever had one of those crack? Thank you again!
I'm so excited about this kit can't wait to get it. Your cards are gorgeous. I thought I could only do the ink resist technique if I used embossed powder I'm going to give it a try.
I really like the white embossing with that stamped background really neat looking :-) but I have to tell you I am addicted to that tissue paper:) I have done it with different colors as sunsets and The blues for waters and the greens for the mountains and grass I am just having a field day with that stuff I have already gone through one whole package of paper and it has I think 100 sheets:)
I would love to see more videos of how you store and use your scraps :) Do you store them by color, teqnique, size or something else? Do you let them sit for some time or du you try to use them up as soon as possible? I love watching your videos and you speak so good that the autogenerated subtitles work great for the times when I am unable to have the audio on :) Keep up the great work Jennifer!
Gorgeous cards, as always Jennifer! Does stamping with your eraser ruin your eraser? Does the ink come off pretty easily, and how do you remove it? Thanks so much for sharing your very creative and imaginative ideas and techniques.
Thank you for all the wonderful things you do. You are a great woman. It is hard for me to understand but I am going there. It would be good if you could translate it is a very humble suggestion. Many thanks again from the heart. From México 🇲🇽
Hi Jennifer! Love your tutorials, this one is really great! I'm going to look through my existing stamps to try and get a whole new look! Thanks for sharing! I do have a question. I noticed that you use a tool to pick up your gems and place them on your card. Can you tell me what that tool is? I have such a hard time for placement of small gems on my art projects, this tool seems like it would be a great fix for that..
Hi Jennifer, gorgeous cards, I am so glad I subscribe to Hero Arts. I have a question. If I use a link to a product from your website, but then decide I don’t want it, but I continue to browse and then buy other items, does that then help you? Or is there a code I could use to ensure you benefit? Thank you for your continued stunning cards 😊
you are sweet to consider. anytime you click one of my links, i get the credit. but honestly - just shop and crafty and have fun and no worries about that :)
I completely respect your answer, however I have learned so much from you. I also know your purchase a great deal of craft supplies, others might think they are all given to you, but you must spend lots. I think it would be good for us to support your business. It doesn’t cost us anything. Kindest regards Cindy.
Jennifer, years and years ago you did a video using a world stamp like the one seen in this You Are Loved stamp set. I've tried to find it a few times as I really liked those cards. Do you remember it and is it possible to provide a link, please?
Loved this but my white doesn’t come through the distress. The dots take on the color of the distress. I used Hero unicorn white pigment, Neenah 80# solar white, and original distress. Any thoughts, Jennifer? I did heat set the unicorn. Thanks, Paula
I tried this technique today and mine also did the same thing with the pigment ink turning a darker shade of the distress ink My ink pad is hardly used and still very inky
Jennifer I love this idea, I have lots of pigment inks and have never known what to do with them. Does it matter what you stamp initially? Or what colour you stamp first too? I am definitely going to have a go at this technique and if you don't mind Jennifer I am going to CASE your idea about using bird stamps as I have just sorted out my stamps recently and have found that I have a box full of different birds including owls that I could use. Thank you for giving us crafters yet another technique which we can try in order to stretch our skills. :O)
That's a really great question. I would think the white pigment Ink would be much more prominent if you stamped it on top of the distress inks. Just a guess though. Now I have to go try and find out for sure 😉
That’s a really cool idea..could you use oxide inks as well? Also I am looking at getting an electronic die cutting machine would you have recommendations between Gemini or Sizzix? I can’t get the Gemini jr in Canada.. so would have to be the large one or the Sizzix. I do mostly 5x6 cards and use dies for all my mats since I am not any good at measuring or cutting straight..lol thanks.
Thank you, Jennifer! Man, what layers of beauty! That aqua with the white embossed bird and you put the silver embossed thanks over the bird was amazing! I also love the white pigment ink fern branches over the teal background! ♥

Genius to use the white pigment ink as a resist. I would never have thought to do that in a million years!
You have taught me a lot with your videos. I had no idea white pigment ink would act as a resist. Thank you.
Just awesome.

Cecilia Gjersvold in Jennifer’s craftroom tour video you can see she uses an ikea Alex drawer set, with a colour family in each drawer for scraps

i used the other end
A lovely kit for these techniques.

Cinders Papercraft Totally agree! Jennifer is a cardmaking rockstar!
thank you for your thoughtfulness. truly. i do spend a boatload just like everyone. just ask my mailman - he visits a lot :)
Jennifer, Could you use thin craft foam instead of Spellbinder embossing mat to emboss on the big shot? Ginger
yes, but it isn't as defined. but give it a try!
Thank you
Where do you find the clear gems?? Thank you!
Anyone have any idea what copic colors these are for the hummingbird ?

hmmmm... is your white ink pad old? maybe not enough ink?
I tried this technique today and mine also did the same thing with the pigment ink turning a darker shade of the distress ink
My ink pad is hardly used and still very inky
Me too. Loved the results that Jennifer got, but I, like you got the reverse.
Maybe not enought drying time

Another min- bending idea from you, Jennifer. Need you to clone your creative brain and send it to me!
Would this work with Oxide inks?
i think the oxide inks may cover all of the stamping under it.
That’s a really cool idea..could you use oxide inks as well? Also I am looking at getting an electronic die cutting machine would you have recommendations between Gemini or Sizzix? it is a tough choice. i like both. i will have a video soon that may help you.
Could you please show the ink pads please
i list them in the supplies in the description :)
