That snake looks like she was around 6' or close to it.

I’d guess around 5’. This species tops out around 50’-60”. Longest ever was 63” set in 1937

I’m glad you live in an area where you feel free to release rattlesnakes. We live in a place with children and pets. Rattlesnakes don’t last long here. It’s also not fun to move cattle on horseback only to come across rattlesnakes, horses don’t like them! 😮

I was thinking the same thing. Here in Georgia we have some huge Rattlers, Timber and Diamondback.
Dealt with a Timber Rattler last week that was way too close to my camper site.
