Has anyone recovered or know how to recover from existential ocd/phobias. I'm obsessed and frightened with being alive, aging, loss, death, the afterlife or lack of afterlife and so on. It causes panic attacks and derealization. Or, maybe the derealization is causing these thoughts? Either way, I'm at a loss and is unbearable. I don't know how to get through this. ..
Hi, a little late but better than never. I’ve been through a very similiar situation, it lasted for a couple years, it was horrible. Derealization or depersonalization are both a cause and an effect of the problem. The very ONLY solution is acceptance, accept both the thoughts and the feelings. Easy to say, not so easy to do, it sounds strange but it’s the only way. As I told it took me about 2 years of fights, then, slowly, I started not to fight anymore and working on being ok with whatever thought or feeling. “Magically” it will slow down to the point of disappear. And actually you will be able to use all those concept in a good way.

I suffer from contamination ocd and your videos have been helping me through a lot, thank you for making these.
