Namskaram. Re: KAD, does it not apply only to natural benefics owning a kendra according to BPHS ( Ref Chapter 34 Yoga Karakas 2.7 #1)? Quoting here: "Kendradhipatya Dosha: This blemish goes to natural benefices by virtue of angular lordship"
Mars is a natural malefic and even though it owns the 10th, it owns the 3rd anyway and hence becomes a mild temporal malefice especially since the kendra is not a MK. If I take Taurus ascendant, Mars is owner of 12th ( functional neutral ) and 7th. A natural malefic by owning a kendra loses its malefic nature according to BPHS ( BVR states that Mars is a benefic for Taurus, not sure why )
