  • Unfortunately the shaft problem at the end halted my final test but I wasn't really expecting much improvement anyway.
If anybody has managed to get one of these hulls sitting perfect without upgrades or adding weight please let me know your setup in the comments

The liner got hot & spun in the stuffing tube, that probably caused a knot in the flex cable. Mine did exactly this! I noticed my center mount tray is popping loose, keep an eye on that. The lower plastic tabs that hold the tray down should be aluminum!

Ive got a stripped plastic thread ( from new) and the stuffing tube cant be held in position. Ill sort it when i get a moment but it shouldnt have left the factory like that

Most interesting. I look forwards to seeing what you do next. I'll be doing all that you do!

Idk if your boat is different, but mine torque rolls to the right side, I have to run my right trim tab like 2 or 3mm lower to correct it, makes a world of difference

Yes thats the correct adjustment to reduce torque roll, but with the small stock prop this hasnt had that issue. As soon as i prop it up i expect those issues

not sure this help's first set the CG at 30% and check it every time you run the boat that way you have one constant. after that set the strut at 0 degree, or level with the bottom of the centerline of the hull. also set the trim tabs so that level with the bottom of the hull. now run the boat and see. if it still hop's move the stinger to a positive angle 1 degree. sometimes when you move the strut down it can add bounce to the hull, this is because it will push the bow down it hits the water and goes up creating what you are getting. this is not the case all the time but more Offen then not. you can use the trim tabs to control a left or right list as the boat moves. always keep the cg at 30% if you can that way any adjustments you make can be repeatable. and you won't be chasing something. also try the boat without the turn fins and see what that does. they only are to work in a turn to keep the boat from hopping. the CD is the most important thing to get the boat right. again not sure this helps but your doing a great job. FYI if you don't keep the CG the same every time, onetime the boat might run good the next time it doesn't that is because you changed something you were not aware of and you will wonder why it is doing what it is doing.

Being so light doesnt help, i was hoping to show people they dont need upgrades to make them run perfect but that wasnt the case
