Large House Move in Charlotte, NC

In May of '22, Wolfe moved a 56'x92' two story frame house & garage with brick veneer in order to save it from demolition. The 280 ton house was moved down a steep slope and then up an even steeper slope into the new site. Wolfe used the Buckingham Power Dolly System with SmartSteer to maneuver the house around a corner at the bottom of the hill and then to position it just right over the new footers.
