That's where you are wrong because you are busy watching the seat of Peter in to line yourself with the church authority, believe in Jesus Christ and not the church authority. By doing that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. As Catholic you are always busy with catholic as a name and not Christianity to line up with other fellow true Christian brethren. Woke up Catholics. The Pope has disclosed his direction and you are busy smiling and laughing while defending the Pope. Throwing catholic name as a source of pride will be the best decision ever and you won't regret it at all. It's the Christ's seat that is empty and not the he so-called Peter who while acknowledging Jesus as Lord he also ended up turning his back against Christ

      @jordanp3470 8 дней назад

No there is not. It’s based on evidence and papal teaching.
Protestantism seeks to overthrow and undermine Catholic authority altogether. Sedevacantism is a principled boycotting of the demonstrably un-Catholic influence that has hijacked Rome post Vatican 2. It is an observation that there is a substantial break in the tradition of the Church rather than a new religion, we’re essentially the holdouts waiting for the licit authority to obey

I converted to Catholicism through the Latin Mass, I didn’t know they were Sedevacantist at the time. Once I realised I had to go deep into the debates and church fathers and I’d like to share the message I sent to some of the beautiful but misguided people I had made friends with there:
Traditionally as laity we don’t have authority to believe we are above the pope nor can we pass judgement on the pope. That has always been known since the early church fathers, that we are not to be the ones engaged in liturgical debate as we are not trained in such matters.
So under what authority could we claim the pope to be a heretic or that the Catholic Church is no longer holy and 100% infiltrated by Satan (as Rev Sanborn said in his newsletter any miracle in the Novus ordo is the work of the Devil).
Historically the only time theologians said that the cardinals could collectively pass a judgement on the pope was to make a declarative sentence that he was never validly elected.
Once he’s assumed the papacy only the subsequent pope can declare a past pope as a heretic.
However it’s not true that we must obey every one of his statements or teachings. It’s not that he cannot be in error, and in cases where Vatican teachings are put forward that the community of the faithful feel are wrong we should follow the Sensus fidei and thus, the tried and true apostolic teachings. The Holy Ghost would not allow the entire faithful of the church to hold to some point of doctrine when it was heretical. This is the Sensus Fidelium as defined in the Council of Trent.
Fracturing into Sedevacantist groups though, is heretical. We can begin behaving like Protestants. Each different Sedevacantist group is at odds with the other, each believes they are the true church, there is a disbandment from unity. We do not fix the Catholic Church by abandoning it, rather this fracturing weakens the community of the faithful and aids in the Evil Ones plan to fracture the Catholic Church in the same way he did in the different denominations of Christianity. Though in this case he’s taking the most traditional and obedient of the flock away from the Holy Catholic Church at the time we need them most.

Whoever denies or not in communion with the bishop of Rome is not a Catholic.
    Irenaeus
“But since it would be too long to enumerate in such a volume as this the succession of all the churches, we shall confound all those who, in whatever manner, whether through self-satisfaction or vainglory, or through blindness and wicked opinion, assemble other than where it is proper, by pointing out here the successions of the bishops of the greatest and most ancient church known to all, founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul, that church which has the tradition and the faith which comes down to us after having been announced to men by the apostles. With that church, because of its superior origin, all the churches must agree, that is, all the faithful in the whole world, and it is in her that the faithful everywhere have maintained the apostolic tradition” (Against Heresies 3:3:2 [A.D. 189]).
    Eusebius of Caesarea
“A question of no small importance arose at that time [A.D. 190]. For the parishes of all Asia [Minor], as from an older tradition held that the fourteenth day of the moon, on which the Jews were commanded to sacrifice the lamb, should be observed as the feast of the Savior’s Passover. . . . But it was not the custom of the churches in the rest of the world . . . as they observed the practice which, from apostolic tradition, has prevailed to the present time, of terminating the fast [of Lent] on no other day than on that of the resurrection of the Savior [Sunday]. Synods and assemblies of bishops were held on this account, and all, with one consent, through mutual correspondence drew up an ecclesiastical decree that the mystery of the resurrection of the Lord should be celebrated on no other but the Lord’s day and that we should observe the close of the paschal fast on this day only. . . . Thereupon [Pope] Victor, who presided over the church at Rome, immediately attempted to cut off from the community the parishes of all Asia [Minor], with the churches that agreed with them, as heterodox. And he wrote letters and declared all the brethren there wholly excommunicate. But this did not please all the bishops, and they besought him to consider the things of peace and of neighborly unity and love” (Church History 5:23:1-24:11).

To make the story short, I thank God, I never returned back to anti Christ again.. Because Sedevecantist adds confusion, gladly I do more some research, until I discovered and understood that Sede ( before I don't know there is a group such as Sede, a Catholic but attacks the Catholic openly..) is a rebellious Catholic sects.. who are far worse than the Eastern Orthodox church, who doesnt recognize the pope, but also totally see the current pope after pope Pius 12, are the Anti Christ pope...

That is the Catholic position, but that was before the days of false eccumenism, which has led countless souls to hell. just think if the early martyrs, even the apostles would have known about eccumenism, they would not have had to give their lives. That is why in the Apocalypse, when talking about the whore of Babylon, says she is drunk on the blood of the martyrs and of the saints of Jesus. And again it says come out of her my people.
Antichrist has taken hold of the structures of the church.

Albrecht criticizes sedevacantists because there are disagreements amongst the different groups. But in the Vatican 2 sect there is also a wide spectrum of beliefs e.g. I'm sure many people on this channel disagree with Francis and James Martin for their promotion of LGBT. There are so many "Catholics for Choice" groups but you can find other priests who will try to deny Communion to someone who supports abortion, so where is the unity for you guys?
He also argued that Brother Peter's interpretation of Revelation (called the Apocalypse in Catholic Bibles) is novel, however the Catholic Encyclopedia gives some examples such as Saint Bernard (a Doctor of the Church) saying the antichrist would be an antipope.

This is so obvious it can't possibly be a reason you left the true church.
I dont care if 5,000 people who pretend to be Catholic are prochoice. The Catholic church has already infalliblly taught that abortion are mortal sin.
They have effectively cut themselves off from catholicism. They are not Catholics if they fully know that they contradict Catholic Dogma. Especially once they've been corrected by their brothers, then the elders, the priests, and bishops of their diocese. If they refuse to change, they are eventually excommunicated. There are no prochoice Catholics. There are ignorant people who think they are Catholic. There are wolves in sheep clothing pretending to be sheep.
The answer isn't to leave the church on some bogus claims about the popes. The answer is to stay within the church and make it strong again.
Leaving the church is a classic heretical move.

    • @ALDCC58

@@blappappa3836 You misrepresented my position but actually prove sedevacantism is correct. I never said I left the "true church" because a certain number of people in it are pro-choice. I said there are various factions and contradictions within the Vatican 2 sect and gave support for abortion as an example. William and Bryan argued that because there are many sedevacantist groups who have different opinions, it must be false. That's hypocrisy because we know there are Novus Ordo "bishops" who give "Communion" to pro-abortion politicians, etc. Just because there are a few different sedevacantist groups doesn't mean not a single one of them is correct. Would you excuse a pagan who made the same argument about Christianity "Well, the Catholics disagree with the Orthodox who disagree with the Protestants, so Christianity can't be true"? Just because there are disagreements doesn't mean nobody is correct.
When you say someone who contradicts Catholic dogma is cut off from the Church, that's the same argument sedevacantists make to show that the Vatican 2 sect is not the Catholic Church. The antipopes teach heresy. Francis recently said verbatim "All religions are a path that arrives at God" which contradicts the words of Jesus Christ (John 14:6) and the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation. Don't try to explain that away. I speak Italian and that's exactly what he said. Francis believes souls are saved in all religions - a heresy. Pope St Celestine taught in his letter to the people of Constantinople that the moment a cleric teaches heresy, he immediately is excommunicated. Canons 188 §4 and 2314 §1 also teach the same principle that anyone who preaches heresy is excommunicated without any warning, declaration, trial etc. You correctly claim that people who are pro-abortion are not Catholic, even though nobody excommunicated them. But you fail to apply the principle to antipope Francis who has taught many heresies and even honored an abortionist, Lilianne Ploumen, and gave her a medal.
Just because Francis wasn't speaking "ex cathedra" doesn't excuse him from the sin of heresy. Martin Luther wasn't a pope, wasn't promised infallibility, couldn't speak ex cathedra but he was still a heretic because he denied Catholic teaching. Antipope Francis said Luther was correct on justification and not a heretic. So when William and Bryan said there are some sedevacantists who reject the Council of Trent, they don't even acknowledge the man they think is pope who also rejects Trent.
Can you show me where canon law teaches a pope can be a heretic and preach heresy, commit acts of apostasy, change the catechism, etc. but still remain the pope so long as he does not say "I am teaching this heresy ex cathedra"?

    • @ALDCC58
      @ALDCC58 9 дней назад

@@atrifle8364 Hello, I already addressed this but can make some more points. Loss of office due to heresy isn't a topic found in a catechism (which usually explains the creeds, 10 commandments, etc.) but is a topic found in canon law because it is deals with governance of the Church and rules for membership. But we can start looking at some encyclical teachings.
Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, #22-23 "Actually only those are to be included as members of the Church who have been baptized and profess the true faith… For not every offense, although it may be a grave evil, is such as by its very own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy."
Here he teaches that to be in the Catholic Church you need to profess the true faith; if someone commits heresy or apostasy, he is outside the Church.
Pope Leo XIII, Satis cognitum, #9 "The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative Magisterium… 'if any one holds to one single one of these [heresies] he is not a Catholic.'"
This pope says the same that if you depart even slightly from the faith then you are outside the Church. He quotes St Augustine who says someone who holds just one heresy is not a Catholic.
Looking at canon law, it says that all heretics are excommunicated.
Canon 188 §4 "Any office becomes vacant upon the fact and without any declaration by tacit resignation recognized by the law itself if a cleric… Publicly defects from the Catholic faith"
Canon 2314 §1 "All apostates from the Christian faith and each and every heretic or schismatic… Incur by that fact excommunication."
The moment someone preaches heresy he loses his office. Notice is says any office, whether it's a pope, cardinal, archbishop etc. and it says without any declaration. Meaning the person is outside the Church immediately and ceases to be pope, cardinal etc.
Pope Paul IV taught in 'Cum ex apostolatus' that "any Bishop... prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy... the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless..."
He's saying that if someone was a heretic and got elected pope, it would be an invalid election. Even if all the cardinals voted for him he would not be the pope because he doesn't hold the true faith and would be outside the Church because of his heresy.
In the same constitution he writes that "the laity;… shall be permitted at any time to withdraw with impunity from obedience and devotion to those thus promoted or elevated and to avoid them as warlocks, heathens, publicans, and heresiarchs...” So this means the laity can recognize that someone is not a pope because they see him as a heretic and that they need to avoid them, not defend their heresies, stay in their cult and attack anyone who rejects the heretic.
The Church teaches through encyclicals and canon law that a heretic is outside the Church and that there is no trial or declaration needed to determine if someone is a heretic. Pope Paul IV says that even if the cardinals accept someone as pope, if there is proof that the man is a heretic then he is not the pope and even the laity could reject him. Is there evidence that Francis is a heretic? Yes there is when he teaches that "all religions are a path that arrives at God," that Martin Luther was correct on justification and not the Council of Trent, that the death penalty is immoral, that people in adultery can receive Holy Communion, when he takes part in non-Catholic worship, etc.
It doesn't matter that he never taught these heresies "ex cathedra" because he still preaches them and believes them and includes them in his encyclicals which would constitute his "ordinary magisterium." The onus is really on you (and those who hold your position) to show that heretics are members of the Church, can preach heresy and keep their office, that the laity can call public heretics Catholics despite overwhelming evidence.
Final thought, let's say the sedevacantists got it wrong even though we see so much proof of heresy. What does canon law say about us then?
Canonist Father Franz Xavier Wernz, Ius Canonicum, Gregorian University, Rome, 1937, vol. 7, n. 398: “Finally, one cannot consider as schismatics those who refuse to obey the Roman Pontiff because they would hold his person suspect or, because of widespread rumors, doubtfully elected (as happened after the election of Urban VI) or who would resist him as a civil authority and not as pastor of the Church."
Therefore, there is no sin of schism for Catholics who see how bad Francis is and think he's not the pope.
But there is a great sin for you who see all the horrible things he does like how he teaches that sodomites can be 'blessed' as couples, rejects converting non-Catholics, writes the preface to James Martin's book, agrees with Luther on justification, condemns the death penalty, worships with Buddhists, etc. And then defend him, call him Catholic, say he's in the Church, etc.
Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

It's unfortunately the official name for the current missal on many Church documents. It's a perfectly solid name, but it's obviously been weaponized. The official name of "TLM" is the Extraordinary Form or the Missal of 1962. That official name is helpful, because how is "the Mass of the Ages" simply the modified Missal of 1962?? Hmm...🤔🙂

If a quote can fit in a meme, it's not the complete thoughts of the Holy Father. It's apparently a CS Lewis type moment, which several past popes have also done at various times.
Pope Francis was speaking with a particular audience of secular children. And it is true to the extent that other religions contain the truth that they are path to God. We have many Protestant converts. The truth they learned other places led them to the fullness of the faith and God.
On the flip side, the Church has never taught that laity can judge the Pope. Be careful with "no salvation outside the Church". It applies much more to sedes than those in situations beyond their immediate control.

God does indeed use other means to draw men to himself. The Logos reaches down from heaven and utilizes those rays of truth. No one is saved without the Catholic Church, so if one is saved it is in virtue of Christ and his Church even if implicitly.

They have a yearly annual fatima conference in spokane which typically gets hundreds of goers. I remember praying the 15 decade rosary around the big old jesuit building with so many people. The most ive prayed a rosary with let alone a 15 decade. It was dark and so all nuns , people at the conference prayed tye rosary with father casimir leading with a mike so as to be heard.. everyone had lit candles and in between each decade was song a verse of the hymn to Our lady of fatim," Oh Fatima cove I the thirteenth of May" song. Going to school with them i learned so many marian hymns which I still remember by heart today at least for one chorus.. Also they not all doom and gloom if you look up their videos posted. One must put some thought into this. All religions have at least "some" truth in them. Look at their beliefs. They might be mostly false, but there is a kernel of truth there. That fraction of truth appeals to us and we naturally desire more. When we desire more, we seek more.
Look at converts to Catholicism: they come from every religion on earth and no religion at all. Yet, there had been "some" truth in their lives. That bit of truth and their desire for more lead them to the fullness of Jesus Christ - which is not in Protestantism and cannot be.

Nice to see you’ve recovered from your major voice issues that conveniently arose after the Popes heretical statements in Singapore. A shame I really wanted to hear your thoughts on the Pope denying Jesus Christ being the truth the way and the life. No one comes to the father except through him. The Pope not infallible. Think we need to pray for the Pope that his liberalism doesn’t continue to pull him away from Christs teachings.
