Continue staying positive and stand strong in the Lord. I also have invasive ductal carcinoma stage one. Estrogen and progesterone +. I have surgery next Friday. Scared but trusting in God all the way.

Just had surgery myself. Expecting radiotherapy next, but hoping to not need chemotherapy. I wasn’t told what stage I am. They mentioned, high grade DCIS, Grade 2 invasive, ER positive.
I am 66 and have never been in hospital for anything before. I have been whole food vegan for 2 years.
My plan is to keep my weight as low as possible within the healthy BMI range, and to only eat cruciferous vegetables, soy products, garlic, yellow onions, chick peas, spinach, Indian spices (cooked in water, not oil), and only drink water and green tea. Also to keep fat/oil to a minimum, if not eliminate it altogether. And no salt.
According to Dr. Greger (on RUclips) those are the proven breast cancer fighting foods.
This will be my “kick up the bum” diet. Anything is better than going through this nightmare again.

I might have misunderstood, you had stage 0 DCIS 9 yrs ago & had a double mastectomy & no chemo or radiation. And now breast cancer stage 2 is new with chemo? Would having radiation at the time of DCIS possibly have prevented this current diagnosis? I think radiation is standard now, but could be mistaken. I pray for your continued healing ❤

DCIS stage 0 is not breast cancer. I can't believe they would recommend a mastectomy for that.

Jesus the real God human in heart intuition tells me, “from flu symptoms, accidents, injuries, surgeries, all cancers minor to diagnosed terminal, what ever it is, you have been halted in your life to see what you have been avoiding, denying, or not processing.
Where aren’t you living it truth, or what aren’t you processing.
What’s scripted is for an individual but yes, with all the above you have been given the time to see what you are avoiding.”
It’s a chance to have a human to human relationship in heart intuition with Jesus to see what truly a saved soul & true salvation is.”
Jesus tells me in heart “you are burning in the flames(hell), but get a chance to live in truth through it, i give you courage to live.”

I know see that's my belief as well. I'm potentially looking at inflammatory breast cancer right now myself I know I will not be doing any of these horrible procedures especially having breasts amputated. It's a horrible disease so what are the choices at least in canada we have medical assistance in dying.
