I had a similar experience in 2010 when we were travelling in a car to Tawang. It is said that the sprit of Jaswant Singh Rawat guides lost travellers through the more difficult stretches. Incidently Jaswant Singh was a brave army man who single handedly killed several Chinese attackers during the Chinese aggression of 1962. Ultimately the brave soldier was caught & hanged the next day. Legend says that he was helped by a local Arunachali girl who mysteriously disappeared the day he was caught.
He wasn't captured alive, he shot himself. And there were 2 sisters helping him, Sela and Nura, Sela pass is named after that very brave girl. Some say Sela was killed by a grenade, others say she jumped from a cliff and died. Nura too had the same fate, she was shot by the Chinese.

I was riding my unicycle one evening near my house, just an usual 1 km grocery run, and a visitor vehicle (locals are familiar with my unicycle, not scared) carrying a family with kids just overtook me slowly. It was probably impossible for them to comprehend what was going on with this floating man outside the window and the kids screamed in fear while the rickety car sped off with crazy noise of struggling engine. Made me feel terrible that I just scared that family out of their wits by just being on the road. This is what ghost stories do. I am so glad they didn't speed off into the adjacent river or run into some tree. It's just good for one to assume even if there are ghosts, they mean no harm, or can do no harm unless one reacts recklessly. I am still a ghost in at least 4 people's stories because they believe in scary ghosts. :)

That's one of the wisest and simplest approaches I've heard about the strange things we all someday experience during life, things we won't comprehend, that we know we can't comprehend, and that some that are more sensible among us also know better to leave alone rather than pushing ever harder for rational explanations. Sela pass has definitely been one of the challenging routes for me especially with weather and visibility. Im familiar with post Arch roads at sela, you can actually see the roads very well. I was tagging to vehicles almost all the way. Sumos cant go fast there to not be able to tag them So It is a bit strange and spooky.
My father served in tawang region in late 70's and 80' as am armyman he told us that some army guys had also experienced a so called helping hand in that route
So well narrated... i was literally afraid when you were narrating the incidents i turned on my room's lights while watching the video........ you r a gem bro... big Fan...

The gloves part... something played with you. And I do believe it is something supernatural. The appearance and disappearance of TATA SUMO , a bit doubtful because the SUMO could have crept up on you without you hearing it( it has happened to me)..and the disappearance...as the roads flattened out on top of Sela pass, i think the SUMO just took off fast. The driver is local and he knows the bends very well, so he just sped off and you just couldnt see him. This is my theory.
Okk .. but what about the motion less body that he mentioned .. ?? He was basically following it up ... so there may be many sights of the same thing .. and none of the time the body moved with the motion .. thats sth unique
There are hundreds of similar stories in our local areas too. And we avoid riding some places especially at night time. Even at day time with jungles, fogs, twist and turns at hilly areas is scary especially riding solo. Some believe that even there are good spirits that gives u company in some place and they have a certain point that will accompany just like urs they vanished when you reached the top of the pass. I completely believe ur story as such things too happened with us during the ride in our local place. We wre seeing lights as if some vehicle was coming from behind and we wre giving way to give it a pass ,not once but couple of times. Nice share amazing story...
Few possibilities with the car scene: The car might have went off the road. The way you describe seems to be a local driving this car, so maybe he accelerated and vanished in the mist. The driver turned on nitrous to get to his destination quickly
I had Similar experience back when i was backpacking from Gujarat to Silvasa via sili route. Beautiful canal running along the road, on my right side there was a mountain and i was intrigued by this simple road going into dense jungle. I was just in the thought weather i should go into jungle or just keep moving, suddenly a sports car crossed me with rash driving i could see this beautiful lady driving it....for a while i thought i could race with her coz she was crazy driving and she just turn her car off the road towards the same road i saw earlier. I followed her...it was not a precise road but kind of path into jungles...into the valley crossed the bridge flowing over small water stream...followed her to realized i was deep into unknown as this thoght hit my mind car just disappeared in thin air...damn scary....i stopped and looked around i could see some naked childrens girls boys picking some fruits off the huge tree...i went to talk to them they were afraid the couldn't understand hindi marathi Gujarati...i could say coz i tried all language as i wanted to know if this path could lead me to silvasa. Some ran away....yeah one more intresting part these childrens had very silky amber black shiny thick hairs I've never seen on top models also....the hairs were soo shiny and their theets were awesomely white. I got out of there asap ....that was scary....it was like timetravel into some B.C. era of some kind
The nature of the story behind the narrative and the element of the unknown creates this surreal experience. We as humans are programmed to be story tellers. At the time you were traveling, you may have already been aware about the story of the pass and looking for clues that could validate the claims. The lady not moving, and the vehicle lights coming from no where guiding you to the top gave you subtle subconscious hints that this was not normal. Or you've weaved out a well thought out narrative with good video editing skills.
I enjoy these tales a lot. The Kashmir one's is my favorite so far. Although, I'm still waiting for you to do some carpentry stuff and put its video up 😋
Thank you. Not making carpentry videos on this channel for now. They are a lot of effort for very little result. Maybe we will do something separate for that in some time 😁
You really do make a strong point. Putting in all that effort and then not getting the desired result surely is heartbreaking. I'm just gonna watch the calender stand one, again 😌
I had been watching your videos from past 2 years and i really like those videos. The way in which you narrated the story was great and it led to creation of similar kind of situation in front of my eyes. Well done with your story telling.
Nice story telling . Want to say one thing that I had this one strangest experience on earth right here in Delhi while on the road one night , it is so incredible that I really hesitate to tell people because it is really so strange that I feel people will have a really hard time to believe it. If I wouldn't have experienced myself and someone else would have narrated it , I would certainly not believe it at all and think it as trying to get attention or just a wild piece of imagination . Cause there is just no possible logical explanation to it. I entered in something I call space warp and I was not alone. a gentleman , a relative was with me .
I specifically watch Scary horror movies when i am in some spooky place or i am alone at home during night, because it makes my adrenaline rush and i feel ecstatic....🙂👍👍
Your storytelling is par excellence. I dont know if there is a ghost or ghost stories are real. What I can say with certainty that there are things around us at times they look out for us at other times, they make things difficult. My trekking days have taught me when around nature, just be quiet, absorb and observe and allow what comes your way to do what it needs too.
1st story - Could have been a bird that took your gloves away! 2nd story - Potential thriller movie! ;) P.S : This is the first video of yours that I've come across and it just compelled me to subscribe. Drive safe. Great channel! :)
Had the same experience in 1994 - 95... Had gone to dhanhaulti ahead of mussorie. We were in a maruti van ,On our way back , the sun had already set and the manager at the lone U.P tourism guest house urged us to stay the night and not drive down . But as per the demand of the majority we started . Barely 2 kms into the drive it started raining cats n dogs. Since I was in the front seat , I distinctly recall the visibility was barely 5 feet. The driver who was the first one to agree to drive down tried to keep up a brave face for another kilometer or so. But I could sense his fear. On two occasions he even stopped the van and stepped out in that stormy rain just to walk a few feet in front of the car and come back. When asked what had happened, he would just shake his head and utter a brief kuch nahi and resume. It occurred to me then that his nerves were giving up and he wasn't sure about the van's distance from either the edge of the valley or the rocks on either side. By jove I froze at that realization but couldnt voice my fear as some of the folks at the back had already started to sob.mujhko Hindu mythology ke saare devi devta yaad aa gaye the. Just then we saw a faint tiny flicker in the rear view.. The driver and I looked at each other and he in his trembling voice mumbled shayad gaadi he.. I asked him to pull aside into a crossing bay nearby if he recalled one, he drove for two hundred meters more and let the car overtake us. The rains were still lashing wild and heavy. Don't know why but I said to the driver if you want to get down alive dont loose sight of that car.. so he followed. To our sheer disbelief in order to keep the car s tail lights in sight we were doing 45- 50 kmph as against the earlier crawling. I told him to keep at it at any cost. Just when we were 5 odd kms from mussoori the rain thinned and we could see some 50 mtrs. But right then in that pitch dark night , that guide/ saviour car vanished in thin air. I till date recall those tail lights as if they were eyes of God.
I was hoping the jacket in the background would hug you at some point of time. Maybe I watch a lot of horror stories. Btw nice narration. Loved it. If we could have a little more of the video of the story with your narration in background, it would be more interesting.
Me and my friend used to roam night times during ramadan. We usually go to town from my village using short route, which goes through small small villages and agriculture lands... When we came back the time was like 2.30 night... I seen a strange, tall thing standing in front of someone's house, I looked into it so focused but can't process what it is, so I kept driving. After like 10 seconds, my friend shouted 'machaaaaa' I just hit the throttle... He asked, Did u see that.... There is something standing.... We were really scared and went home .... The next day evening we went in same route, we seen some 'hidu mantras' written and hanging in front of that house...
Story 1: Wind may have blown away your gloves to some unaccessible shrubs nearby Story 2: Being a usual drive in the pass, as he reached the top where roads are less risky he sped up and vanished
1st case scenario: monkey problem 2nd case scenario: lack of oxygen in heights and some cab drivers from tespur to Arunachal know the road so well that they overspeed in some areas

My father served in tawang region in late 70's and 80' as am armyman he told us that some army guys had also experienced a so called helping hand in that route
So well narrated... i was literally afraid when you were narrating the incidents i turned on my room's lights while watching the video........ you r a gem bro... big Fan...
Part 1: It's 12 in the night and you are leaving me with subconscial fears 😂🤭 That was scary
Part 2: The ghost might be a fan of you and your videos... 🤩
And finally a video on a weekend again, will be waiting for the next one Rohit
And most importantly take care of yourself brother 👊 All we have is one life 💪
Thank You 😊
Leave apart your superb way of storytelling. I got scared through out the whole video just having a look at your scary hanging jacket.
why didn't you upload footage of that exact moment???
Exactly 🙅
Because he wanted to grab likes.
Wow 😯😯😯 .hey Rohit gud to see you again hope you start your journey soon and so do share some amazing story again
As I said, a rational explanation is entirely possible, but it was an intriguing experience based on the timing and situation.
Sumo part is ok ok coz sometimes we do not hear inside helmet and a big vehicle is just beside us, but Gloves incident is definitely strange
Okk .. but what about the motion less body that he mentioned .. ??
He was basically following it up ... so there may be many sights of the same thing .. and none of the time the body moved with the motion .. thats sth unique
Thanks for sharing your story … I had spooky experienced this morning too!
Awww the ghost helped you that's so sweet 😭😭😭💞
There are hundreds of similar stories in our local areas too. And we avoid riding some places especially at night time. Even at day time with jungles, fogs, twist and turns at hilly areas is scary especially riding solo. Some believe that even there are good spirits that gives u company in some place and they have a certain point that will accompany just like urs they vanished when you reached the top of the pass. I completely believe ur story as such things too happened with us during the ride in our local place. We wre seeing lights as if some vehicle was coming from behind and we wre giving way to give it a pass ,not once but couple of times. Nice share amazing story...
Few possibilities with the car scene:
The car might have went off the road.
The way you describe seems to be a local driving this car, so maybe he accelerated and vanished in the mist.
The driver turned on nitrous to get to his destination quickly
When he took the Utrun I can see the car on the left?
@@TheBongConnection1410 check again...theres no car
@@c.jhminga2483 i did and I still see a tatasumo figure at 10:59m
Guides appear to help and they disappear when their work is done.
You are so much appreciated for your great storytelling talent. 🙏
straight to the point story telling, was fun listening to this.
Interesting and superbly narrated .. these strange experiences keeps alive the memories of ride rather than watching normal vlog ... Love this !!!
Wow that was quite an experience
The nature of the story behind the narrative and the element of the unknown creates this surreal experience. We as humans are programmed to be story tellers.
At the time you were traveling, you may have already been aware about the story of the pass and looking for clues that could validate the claims. The lady not moving, and the vehicle lights coming from no where guiding you to the top gave you subtle subconscious hints that this was not normal. Or you've weaved out a well thought out narrative with good video editing skills.
The lady might be Sela herself, who came to guide you to the pass💓
😯😯
Who is that sela??
There was 300 chinese army...

Jokes apart bit u gain a true fan right now ... U r amazingly awesome
I'm going to believe your ghost story because it's narrated in flawless English.
I watched this video very late but this looks amazing one . Keep rocking and rising, drive safe
Damn, 14 mins felt like 1 minute.
You are an amazing storyteller.
Excellent way of story telling!😊😊😊. A one line story but explained in an extremely engaging manner. I almost visualized everything when you narrated.
Tell more.....
Care to share
Underrated channel - much deserved , Rohit good soul
I specifically watch Scary horror movies when i am in some spooky place or i am alone at home during night, because it makes my adrenaline rush and i feel ecstatic....🙂👍👍
Your storytelling is par excellence. I dont know if there is a ghost or ghost stories are real. What I can say with certainty that there are things around us at times they look out for us at other times, they make things difficult.
My trekking days have taught me when around nature, just be quiet, absorb and observe and allow what comes your way to do what it needs too.
1st story - Could have been a bird that took your gloves away!
2nd story - Potential thriller movie! ;)
P.S : This is the first video of yours that I've come across and it just compelled me to subscribe. Drive safe. Great channel! :)
Yes most likely Crow
Nice
Now I won't be able to sleep tonight 😂
😂😂😂

I was hoping the jacket in the background would hug you at some point of time. Maybe I watch a lot of horror stories.
Btw nice narration. Loved it. If we could have a little more of the video of the story with your narration in background, it would be more interesting.
Maybe John Cena took your gloves, you can't see him🤣🤣
😂😂
Hahahaha
It's the one who took your gloves rode the sumo.In return he/she helped you to reach your destination safely.😁
😁😁
Bro your channel is the best motovlog channel I have ever found in youtube. Keep on the good work buddy.Lots of love from West Bengal.
Story 1: Wind may have blown away your gloves to some unaccessible shrubs nearby
Story 2: Being a usual drive in the pass, as he reached the top where roads are less risky he sped up and vanished
Keep up Rohit, you are good at story telling 👏🏻👍🏻 #travelmore #staysafe
1st case scenario: monkey problem
2nd case scenario: lack of oxygen in heights and some cab drivers from tespur to Arunachal know the road so well that they overspeed in some areas
Probably
Cool. Thk you for sharing and remaining neutral/ level headed about it. You should have asked the guy at the tea shop if he'd heard/seen the car or of similar stories/ experiences.
Enjoying your videos and getting the urge to want to come over to India and explore!
It's really love to listening to your experiences,... You are a complete package brother, ...
A biker
A adventurer
A narrator
A storyteller (really good one).
Hoping, u r releasing ur PODCASTS, soon.♥️...
For anyone who actually ever has watched your north east episodes can link to the sumo . And it literally vanished. And now listening to your views. Like what was going in your mind at that point of time. It's beautiful ❤️
Wait u didn't found ur gloves again?
Imagine if they were in ur home one day 🤯
That thought itself gave me chills

Your storytelling is amazing! Loved watching
