That was a quick one, next one will probably be someting about the Roman Empire, also don't forget the check my new membership perks! I was able to shot some of the scenes of this video with my friend (huge thanks to him :P) and it means I can recreate some of the greatest battles in history (and Game of Thrones, LoTR of course) easier. But it requires +30.000 troops which causes fps drops, I'll need new equipments for the my future projects, just a reminder for those who wants to support me on membership perks, I'd be so grateful, I hope you enjoy this one! :)

Wonderful animation. History also bears witness to the fact that Sultan Selim Yavuz was a close friends with Mughal Emperor Babur. He also sent Babur two of his gunmen Ali Quli and Mustafa who introduced the use of cannons in India which resulted in the defeat of Lodhi and Rana Sangha at the hands of Babur despite the fact they were numerically superior.

the Safavids in Iran may or may not have been Iranians, but even they behaved in all relevant respects like Turks. The Turks on the steppe could protect themselves at need by withdrawing from danger into inaccessible regions, but they gave up this option when they migrated off the steppe. This raises the question of how the Turks maintained their position in the Middle East for so long.

One day when he was worshiping again, Sheikh Safi understood that he translated. He said to his elder son, Sheikh Jamaleddin:
- Go to the middle of the lodge! There is a Turkish youth in such a dress, who is brought here for the first time and performs prayers. Say hi to him and tell him that my father, Sheikh Zahid, is calling you.

Safavid power with its distinctive Persian-Shi'i culture, however, remained a middle ground between its two mighty Turkish neighbors. The Safavid state, which lasted at least until 1722, was essentially a "Turkish" dynasty, with Azeri Turkish (Azerbaijan being the family's home base) as the language of the rulers and the court as well as the Qizilbash military establishment. Shah Ismail wrote poetry in Turkish. The administration nevertheless was Persian, and the Persian language was the vehicle of diplomatic correspondence (insha'), of belles-lettres (adab), and of history (tarikh).

the Safavids in Iran may or may not have been Iranians, but even they behaved in all relevant respects like Turks. The Turks on the steppe could protect themselves at need by withdrawing from danger into inaccessible regions, but they gave up this option when they migrated off the steppe. This raises the question of how the Turks maintained their position in the Middle East for so long.

Şah İsmail ve Hanedanı'nın Türklük diye bir davası olmamıştır zira Şia mezhebini yaymaya çalışmışlardır. Öyle ki Osmanlı içindeki Alevi(Kızılbaş)leri ayaklandırıp isyana suruklemislerdir. Siz bizim kardeşimiz falan değilsiniz. Hiçbir zaman da olmadınız. Her daim kahpelik edip, Avusturya ile müttefik olacak kadar işi götürüp, bizi arkamızdan vurdunuz.
Biz Osmanlılar, hiçbir zaman savaş istemedik. Her daim barış istedik. Ama kahpelik ve savaşı siz istediniz. Bizde sizin ağzınıza vurduk. İyiki de vurduk.

We are in Azerbaijan very sad to read this history. 2 brothers are killing each other. Shah Ismail and Safavids were Azerbaijani Turks and Ottomans also Turks (same Oghuz Turk root). I know from history Shah Ismail didn't want this war and from his letters to the previous Ottoman Sultan he is calling Sultan as his big brother. But Sultan Selim was eager for this war. If they were united they could be the strongest empire of that time. After this war there were celebration in Rome and in the most european countries because Both Turk Empires had been weaken for some decades..
Unfortunately this war happened between Ottoman empire vs Safavid empire, because Shah Ismael was always against Ottomans and Sunni Islam. He made whole Iranians to Shiites with force and killed many Sunni ulema. Shah Ismael used anatolian alewits against Ottoman Empire and he even cooperate with european powers and call them to attack Ottoman Empire from West and the Safavids from east. Maybe Shah Ismael was turkic but he fought only against turkic ottomans and turkic uzbeks at the end whole lands wich he fought for is today under persian control.
Shah ismail originally was Kurdish guy. Such shame when you don't have any history try to stole other history. There is no Azerbaijan in history. Shah ismail was king of Persia. They called ottomans " Romans " . What are you talking about lol when you don't know nothing. All of your knowledge came from ataturk just this. Safavids were Iranians. Not Azerbaijan lol
@@Death-hp1lh you are so funny. How Shah Ismail could be Kurdish or Persian if he declared Azerbaijani language as a state language of Safavid Empire?! You need to khow they integerated Iran and they were ottomans enemy. Please don't forget that republic of Azerbaijan was part of Iran ans it's name was northern Iran or aran.
@@alirezahajibagheri2008 you're both wrong at some things. Safavid empire became iranian during Shah Abbas' reign and it was influenced by his distrust in turkic Qizilbashs. Before Shah Abbas, Safavid empire was considered turkic. You shouldn't judge historical people by current borders. Just because Shah Ismail was born in Ardabil, which is currently in Iran, doesn't mean that he was iranian.
Edit: the point I was trying to make is that, by the time Chaldiran happened, Safavids were still turkic and Ismail was busy writing poems in (azeri) turkic.
