Glad you posted this showing that you can make it work with speed sensors
Genius ❤❤ been looking for ages to properly mount the weld on brackets , with keeping the Abs sensor 😍 i thanku hopefully u read this
Did those welds last? All the weld kits assume removing abs sensors, so yours was genious, I hope it didn't break apart after a while.
It broke on the first handbrake pull, but it was because of my shitty welding. I pulled the rotors off and spent more time cleaning up the area and used a tig welder to get more heat. I have been running it ever since with no issues.
This is great to see that it's possible to add the second caliper while keeping the factory speed sensor. How easy is it to lock the rear wheels? Would you change the size of the master it you could do it again?
The master cylinder is large enough. They lock up pretty well, they lock easily when the car is at speed and turning. I have to pull pretty hard if I am in straight line, but I am still running warn out junkyard pads. With some good pads they will lock in pretty much any condition.
just watched every episode in one sitting wow
Wow is right! That is some serious dedication or boredom? Lol
These tutorials are great for creating ideas to a more simplified solution 👍 even though I don't have a BMW, it's still the thought process to being more creative with my own ride😁 As always, rockin video🤘
Do you have a link for the brake caliper fitting adapter to -an?
Did you completely shave off the bolt mount for the ABS sensor?
I did
What e brake line kit did you use?
I peiced together my own, but it would have been cheaper to buy a kit. When i was looking they cost around $120.
does that bracket kit allow you to use just a second oem caliper?
Yes it does
