Bobcat T66 vs S650 Lifting Comparison

Testing if the new T66 can handle 3600 lbs better then my S650. You'll notice the back end of the s650 comes off the ground a little bit. These machines have similar specs but the s650 is actually has a higher ROC (rated operating capacity).

Slide the pallet on your forks all the way. Also you compacted a machine that has 2 stacks of counter weights to one that doesn’t have any

I kept the pallet out further for the purpose of the demonstration. (I mentioned that in the video as well). Also the t66 comes stock with those counterweights, the S650 does not. I was comparing two stock machines.

hey sean, cant realy compair the 2, one has counter weights and the other dont. looks like one has about 300 to 400 bls of counter weights.i am sure there are math wizs on here that can calculate this formula. and tell you just how extra you can lift with them counter weights vs lengh of pivit..

ROC of S650 is 2826 lbs (50% Tipping load). ROC of T66 is 3540 lbs (50% of tipping load). The T66 should lift more, even without the weights.

The tracked unit has counter weights. The wheeled unit doesn't.

I'd say it has more to do with tracks vs wheels. The 200lbs counter weight would be about 100lbs more lifting capacity
