As soon as I saw that notification and that it was an infiniti review I came immediately, especially the Q60, in my opinion one of the best looking 2 door coupes.
I am not subscribed to the Autogefühl Chanel for nothing. The cars reviews are what it is made at the very best. Infinity might not be my favorite car but I can't skip the review. I simply can't. Great job to have Thomas and +Autogefühl team for the cars reviews in Full Screen, Full Length and Full HD.
One of the best review ever. Not just for this one but You are doing a great job! Every time you review a car I want to buy it, because all your reviews are just prefect!! Cheers from Belgium!!
Fab in depth review again. It is nice to see something different rather than the usual German cars. Too many Audi's, BMW's and Mercedes on the roads here in Birmingham UK
Beautiful car! Fluid lines, modern design, good proportions and powerful engines! Price is acceptable and it already has lots of equipment even it the base trim... Infiniti cars are rare on the roads so the appearance is even stronger. They are not interesting in the eyes of the thieves and that is one huge plus. Moreover, "problematic" people will certainly avoid this car. ;) Regards
The Jaguar has the same 2D logo on its front grille with cameras behind it as well, but it's ok. They won't even mention it. But for the Infiniti, it's all of a sudden a big deal worth talking about, hahahaha.
great review like always Thomas. beautiful looking car from the outside. but the interior seems a little like an after thought or something. can't say I'm a fan but that's just me. But I can tell a great driving car and exterior!
Am I the only one that likes the interior? Sure its not as flashy as a merc or bimmer but it does have a sense of nostalgia. The only thing I dislike about the car is the drive by wire.
all the electronic dashes are getting a bit much, a speedo and a tach, fuel, temp, odometer analogue are all that are needed, the middle console can handle the other stuff.
Jrv200008...I do like its interior. Love the dual screen that let's you keep the navigation screen on while fiddling with other functions. The Red Sport comes with the DBW, the 3.0 and 2.0 has conventional steering. I bought the 3.0t and I love it. And btw, I test drove the C Class coupe, Audi A5, and BMW 4 series, and in the end, I chose the Q60.
Thomas delivers another great review. I wonder if Autogefuhl needs to rethink its use of the little camera on the driver's side window. That camera delivers a strange perspective that comes at a slant, and the A pillar is intrusive. Viewers probably know that the look this camera gives is not the same as what the driver sees, but this camera always delivers a look I find uncomfortable to watch.
I have been driving the same Q60 2.0t for the last seven weeks now and I can agree with most of your observations. My car is the basic Premium spec, so no Bose sound system (not so good...) and no steer-by-wire (good according to some...). I actually had the Sport variant on order, but was offered a decent enough deal by the Birmingham Infiniti center, so I could have it some two months earlier and somewhat cheaper. It is a beautiful car (mine is hagane blue, the signature red was too much in-your-face for my taste); we are not that tall family so if need be I could drive four. The sports character comes about in, well, Sport mode for both the dynamics and the steering; the Standard is good for city driving. The infotainment system is indeed somewhat illogical at places, i.e. one can acknowledge OK button in three places - the top screen, the wheel and on the steering wheel control. You get used to it, though (I had an Infiniti Q30 before the Q60 for a year, this actually was more consistent). Otherwise it is a pleasure to drive indeed. The hydraulic steering is precise, perhaps a bit heavy at low speeds but excellent for a normal drive. There are a few other bits driving me almost mad that weren't mentioned in the film (e.g manual folding mirrors, you have to switch the engine on to open the windows or listen to music, although these could be something common to keyless operation; one has to acknowledge two or three statements upon every engine startup), but I am overall very happy with the car so far. Anyway, thanks for the excellent reviews.
Ok Is the performance between the 2.0 and 3.0 that much of a difference? I plan to buy one but I rather spend less and get the 2.0 if it is comparable or better to my current old Honda Accord v6 engine coupe. Can you give me some feedback on this based on your 2.0?
Chavdar Ivanov Здравей колега миналата седмица си купих същата кола още е на 600 км в момента колата ми гори по мои сметки над 15/100 градско дали и при теб е така или трябва още разработване?
Alfonso Albaisa is one of the most talented designers going round today. Nissan/Renault is very lucky to have him, a loyal company man for nearly 20 years. Now unrecognisable to itself of 1989 with HQ in Hong Kong, F1 branding etc good luck to them. This Q60 series seems like a project in the making, the next generation needs to address material section. Engineering is faultless, interior seems rushed, exterior is beautifully sculptured albeit reminiscent of an A5 left in direct sunlight to melt. Quality review Thomas.
I actually like most of the interior even today, years later. What I would change is the glossy black surface and the recessed upper screen. A mat, carbon or wood-like surface with a screen at the same level as the lower one would make it as good as it gets. Don't like screens placed high on the cocpit. Esthetically speaking, they are beter for being closer to the line of sight. Also hate whan most comands get there in the touchscreen. Multiple imputs are ok, for ergonomics the wheel might be better while driving (Mazda style), but touch is easier to operate in other circumstances. So change of the central isle surface material, pushing the upper screen forward (though there might be a vetter visibility argument for recessing it, maybe?) and adding a HUD and android/apple conection would make this better to me than most modern cars. Everything else also feels great, I like the coupe sleak form purely for aestetics and drive only myelf or with my wife 99% of rhe time, so rear seats not an issue. But also prefer a comfort-biased to a sport biased setup (if not adaptable) most of the time. And statistically japanese cars seem to be consistently more reliable than European ones, so I would be less reluctant to get a second hand one. I got here by chance, but might put this one on the list for next car, love what I've seen. Might be different after testing it in person though.
The problem with Inifiniti, it takes ownership to really understand how to use the car's tech and understand why they made the decisions they did. Many German cars are just glitz and fizzle which people tire of quickly. Infintitis are not cars that can be reviewed easily, neither can they be test driven effectively. My Q50 Hybrid Sport Tech is a serene tourer, even in busy highway traffic with all the aids turned on, and a monster with all the aids turned off. But it takes a period of time how to best use the tech to make journies effortless. It takes time to acclimatise and understand just how amazing Direct Adaptive Steering is. I have just exchanged my Q50 Hybrid for a Q60 Red Sport. I looked at Audi. Merc and BMW in the used market and the cars look nice but dull, being so familiar on the roads. There is not much choice for low milage intelligently specced S5s or C43s. BMWs are just dire these days. I really think if reviewers were as picky about German cars as they are with Japanese cars, most of the BMW models would be absolutely panned.
Another terrific review Thomas - thank you. I would have preferred the car in 'Thomas' blue as it seems a bit brash in red. Also, the interior isn't especially well thought out. For the money I would have expected something more premium. All fur and no knickers as my Mum would have said! Overall though it is not my sort of thing because I think that Audi does it better. Maybe, with all your experience and attention to detail, you should become a designer, Thomas. Thank you again. David
I saw the car three days ago and I was impressed due to the very good design. But the interiour is not state of the art... nevertheless, I like the car
Great job, Autogefühl! After watching this and AJ's review of the Q60S Red Sport, the 300hp silver S with all wheel drive might be the sweet spot in the line up! Too bad INFINITI doesn't offer alcantara or leatherette as an interior option. :( One of the best looking Japanese cars on the road today! Can't wait for your Project Black S review. Hopefully, they build it, unlike the "Eau Rouge"...
Good looking car. Looks really different from what's already out there. But I strongly agree with Thomas about those 2D-logos. A logo should be like the pride of the manufacturer, and thus needs to be formed perfectly. No matter what kind of brand, whether it's a Tata or a Ferrari. I assume there's room behind the grill, right? About the ending of the naturally aspirated engines... It's a pity, but due to governmental regulations basically all manufacturers are forced to do this. Respect to Mazda that they are against this, but would they have done it as well if they had the presence of f.e. the VAG-brands in the European market? Today, governmental regulations are becoming a bit more realistic (as in realizing that f.e. hybrids aren't necessarily better for the environment since a lot of people aren't even using the electrical part (Outlander PHEV as the best example)), but it's still in favor of downsizing. The media/navigation-system being so outdated and laggy, is just not ok. I mean, the average solution is still crap, but the premium brands should do better. Volvo and BMW (the latter one for a couple of years now) are doing ok but the rest stays behind. Time to start working together with SoC-manufacturers and software-developers to make better solutions. I understand that they need to answer to norms that are more strict than those for a smart-device, but still...
Such a pretty looking car ( reminiscent to Opel Manta B2/Calibra, Peugeot 406 coupe ), shame about the mixed bag interior. Hope you get to test/review new Honda Civic hatch Thomas.
Great review guys! The design of the Infiniti is superb but the inside needs improvements. Still, I think that the car except design doesn't give something special and for the price of 40 000 euros I don't think it is the best choice. Seat Leon Cupra, Golf GTI, Opel Insignia ext.
It's a shame most reviewers hated the 2 screen layout at the time because infiniti did it first. Forward thinking?. Now all German brands have 2 or 3 screens and reviewers think they're 'amazing '. 'Consumption is poor', maybe it would have been better without the Mercedes engine.
SCHADE!
Well, I drive a Q50 and there's no way to make current speed to be shown on the screen between the RPM and Speed-meter, theoretically it's possible to do it by programming it in separately.
Has anybody got an idea where there is an Infinti dealer is in and around the Bielefeld-Gütersloh-Herford-area? Nissan dealers don't sell them here, their is only an Infinti "service point" at a Herford Nissan Dealer. They don't even have broshures on that car....the reason I ask is that I don't want to travel long ways to Hannover, Cologne or even Hamburg to test drive their cars, especially the Q 60 2door Coupé. Any ideas anybody? Thanks!
If Infinity wants to be also succesful in Europe, they need to have a more pleasant interior and more economic engines also. I prefer an Audi A 5 and especially the A 5 sportback over this Q 60.
NemanRa Don't get me wrong. I drive myself a japanese car (subaru) and I consider Infiniti and japanese cars in general to be great, but If I had to choose without money issues I'd prefer the Germans.
It's OK, I also drive German and Japanese cars... However, my favorite ones are British and Italian exotics. :) Speaking about this Infiniti, I like it a lot. I like its fluid lines and "clean design". Which one Subaru? They might look a bit conservative, but mechanically they're top-notch. I visited some European car shows, and I have seated in almost every car. I think that Subaru have one of the best seats in basic trims. Outback is great multi purpose car... Renault-Nissan cars are also OK in that regard. On the other hand, Volkswagen group have very uncomfortable and "hard" basic seats. Regards
ford has been recently having serious engine problems even some catching fire. they were finally forced to make a recall, could you maybe do a video calling owners of affected cars awareness? finance.nine.com.au/2017/03/31/11/42/ford-recalls-5000-vehicles www.news.com.au/finance/business/ford-is-recalling-the-kuga-suv-and-fiesta-st-hatchback-in-australia-after-seven-cars-caught-fire-locally/news-story/7292ada14964ab86a7c4bad8026f1356
drove the Q50 2.2t during easter.. the two should be similar cars... some impressions: leg room for driver is not enough. my knee is constantly hitting the bottom of the cockpit connected to the steeling wheel at my comfortable seat configuration of height and distance to the wheel (i am 1.79m) ; there are some design elements to the console. but overall it looks aged and frankly a bit like a video game console. not a "premium" feeling you get from a supposedly 3 series competitor; the little "box" between the console and the gear with velvet clothing is a joke.. better replace it with something else; the trunk space is enough, but still surprisingly small for a car of this size; the engine is fine... overall it recorded 6.4 l/100km... Overall comment: nice try for a Japanese company to offer a product to compete in this segment... traindrive technology may be up there but the design language is still not quite mature enough.
He said that the Q60's interior is outdated and could be more forward like the others. Is he referring to the BMW's interior? LOL. The only one with an outstanding interior in this class is the C class. So which "others" is he talking about? Which infiniti from 10 years ago have dual screens? Also, the door handle opens just fine. It's not stuck like he pretends it to be. Please stop reviewing Japanese cars. Stick to European cars. The more I see these European biased reviews, the more I don't want to buy European cars. I'm done with caucasian reviewers. Guys, test drive your options and don't listen to these reviewers.
Please. Dont make this a country deal. Just look at this very car and then compare it to an interior e.g. of a VW Golf. The Golf is years ahead in look and feel in the interior if you compare it to this one. But that doesnt mean that Germany is better than Japan, I never said that. If you listen carefully to our reviews, you ll see that we point out the pros and cons on every car. I dont care AT ALL in which country a car is produced and I have no motivation what so ever to promote any single brand. Dont accuse us of something we dont do, that's an insult to our incredible hard work we put into this channel.
Looks like a new car on the outside, however outdated on the inside, which is where you spend most of your time in the car.... I'd certainly go for a Lexus if I wanted Japanese luxury and power.
just the german´s are better??? you have BMW whit the same interior more the 10 years, same whit AUDI and volkswagen and you criticize something new???? if you don´t like is your problem, don´t say is a bad car!
Yeech! Hideous! The committee that designed this obviously didn't get along to well. It has no harmony to its design. It looks "cheap" both externally and especially that wretched interior. For the price that you have to pay for this "Styled by Homer Simpson" vehicle, I would buy the infinitely better VW Arteon or VW Golf R. How anyone, who loves cars, could approve the go-ahead for this abortion, I cannot imagine. Hopefully, Carlos Ghosn will fire the team for wasting the Group's money on this.
premium price but the interior feels like a standard nissan. The same issue with Lexus cars, they looks unique on the outside but very plain and cheap on the inside.
As soon as I saw that notification and that it was an infiniti review I came immediately, especially the Q60, in my opinion one of the best looking 2 door coupes.
enjoy :)
Looks like an ugly bugger IMO
I agree, full of unnecessary shapes and fake detailing. The sort of styling that covers up poor packaging.
6 years later I finally made it. Got my q60s :) It is a great car
Congratulations!
Congratulations I will be in this exact one very soon also
I immediately fell in love with this car's design when I first saw it at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, love at first sight!!!
I am not subscribed to the Autogefühl Chanel for nothing. The cars reviews are what it is made at the very best. Infinity might not be my favorite car but I can't skip the review. I simply can't. way to go !!

One of the best review ever. Not just for this one but You are doing a great job! Every time you review a car I want to buy it,
because all your reviews are just prefect!! Cheers from Belgium!!
cheers buddy!
This is a great looking car, infinity is definitely an up and coming brand
Fab in depth review again. It is nice to see something different rather than the usual German cars. Too many Audi's, BMW's and Mercedes on the roads here in Birmingham UK
Beautiful car!
Fluid lines, modern design, good proportions and powerful engines!
Price is acceptable and it already has lots of equipment even it the base trim...
Infiniti cars are rare on the roads so the appearance is even stronger.
They are not interesting in the eyes of the thieves and that is one huge plus.
Moreover, "problematic" people will certainly avoid this car. ;)

Yes !!!! Infiniti reviews...
Hope to see one regarding the recent Q50 (2.0 or 3.0)
Keep the good job guys !!!
Thank you
keeping u updated!
The Jaguar has the same 2D logo on its front grille with cameras behind it as well, but it's ok. They won't even mention it. But for the Infiniti, it's all of a sudden a big deal worth talking about, hahahaha.
? Did you watch any of our latest Jaguar reviews? Of course we mentioned that there, as it looks extraordinary dull at the Jags
great review like always Thomas. beautiful looking car from the outside. but the interior seems a little like an after thought or something. can't say I'm a fan but that's just me. But I can tell a great driving car and exterior!
thanks pal !
infiniti and Thomas deserve respect,
cheers!
Am I the only one that likes the interior? Sure its not as flashy as a merc or bimmer but it does have a sense of nostalgia. The only thing I dislike about the car is the drive by wire.
you can indeed get the normal steering when you pick a base model
Hopefully not. i like it too. I miss that design from new cars, they are way too artificials.
I agree btw with Thomas about the seating leather.
Diego Munoz Yeah I do too
all the electronic dashes are getting a bit much, a speedo and a tach, fuel, temp, odometer analogue are all that are needed, the middle console can handle the other stuff.
Hi Thomas !
How you liked steering feel on that particular model ?
Keep up good job !!!
thanks m8, see the driving part for extensive remarks on that!
Anyway, thanks for the excellent reviews.
good observations. Also noticed that with the mirros later. Surprised you can go without the steer-by-wire, dont think you can do that in Germany
The basic Premium spec in the UK doesn't have steer-by-wire.
Ah ok, good to know.
Ok Is the performance between the 2.0 and 3.0 that much of a difference? I plan to buy one but I rather spend less and get the 2.0 if it is comparable or better to my current old Honda Accord v6 engine coupe. Can you give me some feedback on this based on your 2.0?

does this car actually look better than BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and others in the Luxury Sport Coupe square.
it really depends.. person by person.. for me i like sharp & elegant lines: Lamborghini, Audi & bmw.. :P
Arch-Angel741 Audi is my fav car manufacturer but this by far the best looking coupe out. With that being said I would still get a a5 over this

yeah so true
Awesome car and as always awesome review. I would love to see Thomas review a RedSport as well
thanks keep joining us!
Good job Thomas!
thanks m8 !
I have a question can i change the language off the two screens in german or only the cockpit screen?
tbh i like this channel better then shmee
thanks join us for more!
that's because Shmee isn't a _proper_ automobile journalist like Thomas is or Motomantv (George Notaras) -or Werner Budding- _(Dutch only)_
Why would he know Werner? He's only relevant when you understand Dutch...
Ofcourse, my bad. Didn't even think about the language.
That 2D logo is terrible!!
Great review as always 👍🏽👍🏽
thanks !

Hallo Thomas, du scheinst ja gerne im Felderbachtal zu filmen;-). Ich bin übrigens großer Fan eures Formats
Vielen Dank =)
My favorite coupe 2017 with Mercedes Classe E coupe ;)
Such a pretty looking car ( reminiscent to Opel Manta B2/Calibra, Peugeot 406 coupe ), shame about the mixed bag interior.
Hope you get to test/review new Honda Civic hatch Thomas.
yeah working on that :)
Can you do a full review of the Panamera sport turismo
Sure that will come this year. Next Panamera review about the Turbo
Yeah definitely looking forward to a Sport Turismo review, any trim level is fine with me
The car I will get in the fall...….…. 2019 Q60 Red Sport...…
Great review guys! The design of the Infiniti is superb but the inside needs improvements. Still, I think that the car except design doesn't give something special and for the price of 40 000 euros I don't think it is the best choice. Seat Leon Cupra, Golf GTI, Opel Insignia ext.

Cupra ST ist doch geil =)
I'm always wondering if the other people on the road think that Thomas is drunk or sleepy when he is testing the steering and the acceleration :)
=)
Ganz guter Test. ich würde meinen Q50H gerne gegen ein Q60 tauschen , aber nur mit Hybrid Motorisierung. Diese ist leider auch in Zukunft wohl nicht im Angebot! SCHADE!
jo sieht wohl gerade so aus! Danke!
The front seats' headrests are too forward!
yeah NA engines are going away, especially with the new 2.0 L single turbo VC-T coming out, which will effectively replace the VQ
Well, I drive a Q50 and there's no way to make current speed to be shown on the screen between the RPM and Speed-meter, theoretically it's possible to do it by programming it in separately.
thanks for the feedback, indeed strange they forgot that!
Funny enough, it shows on a Q30. Go figure...
Chavdar Ivanov that's because q30 is basically an A class Mercedes.
It's an Altima with Infiniti badges on it. Nice.
People always complain about how dated the interior looks. It’s missing this or that. Simple fix, then don’t get one.
Has anybody got an idea where there is an Infinti dealer is in and around the Bielefeld-Gütersloh-Herford-area? Infiniti recently withdraw from Europe
love it, beautiful car.
It has the key fob of a Nissan Sentra. Beautiful car, but too many shortcuts on quality and luxury.
Full HD, "Let Go"
Only animal skin is available! LOL
this or C class coupe?
Compare it here: ruclips.net/video/QwKBpG5peMQ/видео.html
If Infinity wants to be also succesful in Europe, they need to have a more pleasant interior and more economic engines also. I prefer an Audi A 5 and especially the A 5 sportback over this Q 60.
Romain Meyer audi is unreliable asf that's the only problem.
that is ridiculous Mr Parichay
Already quite dated for 40k and 60k for the 3 liter...no thanks. Infinity will have a tough time moving these at this price point.
Charles Lane these prices will drop fast these cars depriciate quickly especially in my country
+1. .. Hey at time code 4:30 there is a lunatic swerving back and forth between lanes of the road . . . .
there's something about black glossy plastic on the interior that turns me off from buying a car. also, I'm super poor. but mostly the black plastic.
Thank you sir :)
you re welcome!
1700 kg is to much weight. I wish porsche could engineer this beautiful car.
Japanese interior much better looking than German in normal cars, BMW just threw something like a tablet on top of the dashboard...cheese looking
Good review, but car too $$$ for me, thanks.
I still prefer the Audi A5 or Mercedes Benz e class coupé or the BMW 4er.
They are all dissimilar. :)
Infiniti is an alternative, there are lots of people who want something different...
Regards
NemanRa Don't get me wrong. I drive myself a japanese car (subaru) and I consider Infiniti and japanese cars in general to be great, but If I had to choose without money issues I'd prefer the Germans.
It's OK, I also drive German and Japanese cars...
However, my favorite ones are British and Italian exotics. :)
Speaking about this Infiniti, I like it a lot.
Regards
NemanRa I drive a Forester and indeed the seats offer really much value for the price and they are also very comfortable.
THOMAS IS THE BEST !!!!!
you re welcome!
ford has been recently having serious engine problems even some catching fire. they were finally forced to make a recall, could you maybe do a video calling owners of affected cars awareness?
finance.nine.com.au/2017/03/31/11/42/ford-recalls-5000-vehicles
www.news.com.au/finance/business/ford-is-recalling-the-kuga-suv-and-fiesta-st-hatchback-in-australia-after-seven-cars-caught-fire-locally/news-story/7292ada14964ab86a7c4bad8026f1356
and the most objective also !
drove the Q50 2.2t during easter.. the two should be similar cars... some impressions: leg room for driver is not enough. my knee is constantly hitting the bottom of the cockpit connected to the steeling wheel at my comfortable seat configuration of height and distance to the wheel (i am 1.79m) ; there are some design elements to the console. but overall it looks aged and frankly a bit like a video game console. not a "premium" feeling you get from a supposedly 3 series competitor; the little "box" between the console and the gear with velvet clothing is a joke.. better replace it with something else; the trunk space is enough, but still surprisingly small for a car of this size; the engine is fine... overall it recorded 6.4 l/100km...
Overall comment: nice try for a Japanese company to offer a product to compete in this segment... traindrive technology may be up there but the design language is still not quite mature enough.
thanks for the feedback!
Thomas, do you feel like a little girly man driving a tiny 2.0 engine with only 208 horsepower?
+Hugh Mongus no
A bit of a somber review today Thomas
is it? Weather is like that atm =)
Perhaps you just need another hyper-car to review :-)
This car has the absolute most hideous tail lights I've ever seen on a luxury car. This is not a subjective opinion.
Dont accuse us of something we dont do, that's an insult to our incredible hard work we put into this channel.
q60 headlights reminds me SEAT's headlights.
this seems like a mixture of other car manufacturers' designs.. lack of imagination IMO
A bit of an Alfa Romeo Giulia lookalike
finally first at something!
fuck off
+supersonic, lol.
supersonic hahHhaha
heheh
Exterior: 2017
Interior: 2010
.....
Looks like a new car on the outside, however outdated on the inside, which is where you spend most of your time in the car.... I'd certainly go for a Lexus if I wanted Japanese luxury and power.
Warblr the lc500 is much pricier than this
just the german´s are better???
you have BMW whit the same interior more the 10 years, same whit AUDI and volkswagen and you criticize something new????
if you don´t like is your problem, don´t say is a bad car!
+Pedro Benfica did i? Watch the full review
So biased
lol what?
What is this with Japanese cars over the top with with design lines nowadays
looks like Hyundai Genesis sedan+Mazda3
I strongly dislike the interior, it's stuck in 2006.
Yeech!
That thing is ugly, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
Did you see it in person? It looks much better in real life... :)
Nice fluid lines, good proportions...
Regards
premium price but the interior feels like a standard nissan. The same issue with Lexus cars, they looks unique on the outside but very plain and cheap on the inside.
