I'm not so sure I want him to be more "popular" than he is at this moment. I don't think he would survive "public" world fame, stage lights, cameras, etc. I once thought (and, still believe) he should win a Grammy and perform on stage. But, when I really think about it, I don't believe that's his nature. I can't see him comfortably hob-nobbing with a bunch of celebs in bow ties, etc. I grew up on James Taylor (and, he's still my "spirit" animal") and, I believe he has chosen the ultimate path in life to succeed, and keep his life semi-private.
SAME!!!! My friends know about NF from me.. but I found out about him from "Let You Down.". I think that was the only one that played on the radio - and was part of the Now This is What I call Music album the year it came out.. I heard him once.. and I was hooked.. he is a lyrical genius.. I am an incurable poet on the inside. LOL.. and his words are .. beyond description.. not just the way he formulates his sentences or weaves his images.. it's the sincerity and authenticity of the emotions he conveys.. He is relatable, yet untouchable.. I have made some of his piano intro's to his songs into ring tones LOL . Amazing.. On a separate note.. I don't follow reactors normally.. I think I was taken "down that rabbit hole" with a Pentatonix reaction.. but your reactions are also genuine.. though I've only seen your Pentatonix and NF ones so far - Oh and Jelly Roll: thank you for introducing him to me by they way. Keep up the good work.. Respect.

This song says so much to me. I relate to it on so many levels. After losing my quality of life to failed back surgeries, and the the loss of my son two years ago, this song is my life. Music is indeed my therapy. NF and TOP keep me going. Again, I know you FEEL this music down to the bones, and I always look forward to your reactions. ❤️

I’m not a real rap fan. But he is the only one that I do listen to. His lyrics and voice is full of passion. And I still don’t understand why he isn’t bigger. He talks about life. What happens in life and how to overcome. He deserves to be on the top. And hopefully he will be.

Great reaction! When I look at this song and I think of society and sadly myself and I see numbness to horrible things like school shootings and so on. No one wants to feel like that towards those things but I pray to Jesus that I am never truly cold to the world around me.
He doesn’t use profanity because he’s a Christian artist. Also I only found you because I’ve been an NF fan for years. Your correct though, he’s severely underrated even in the states.

They don't play any of his songs here in the Czech Republic >< He's an amazing guy and for a long period of time I had his (and Set It Off's) songs on repeat (I was suicidal and depressed) and they've helped me get through so much. It brings tears to my eyes to listen to his songs
