I have never been interested in audio books but I find Baldermorts voice and tonal inflection quite mesmerising. Leave the material asidefor a moment, Baldermort is a wonderful storyteller. If audio book producers had any sense they'd offer him a juicy contract. Wonderfully done video!

This is INCREDIBLE. Some of the best 40k plot writing I've heard. The necrons are truly the gift that keeps on giving, and it's both horrifying and hilarious how the mechanicus go absolutely feral as soon as they think no one is watching. Hell yeah, my favorite faction >:) Many 40k factions have the ability to provide endless possibilities in terms of head canon for characters. But if so many other factions give infinite possibilities for possible lore, the necrons, with their access to shards of god of the materium and the heights to which named characters have reached, provide possibilties for head canon characters and lore grounded in precedent that take the other faction's infinite possibilities and double it (aleph 0 < aleph 1). Think of it, you could, like me, fantasize about being a Vangard Obyron-type character locked up somewhere in a massive tomb just holding grand balls, feasts, jousts, theatre perfomances, duels, whatever extravagance you can imagine, and as a background to that, within a tomb in which the technomancers (I think that's what they were called) had been working for tens of eons due to waking up early, and have even further developed their technology...but for some reason have forgotten that they are still buried by the weight of change that has taken the form of rubble, earth, once running magma and so have never ventured out... or a similar character who got stuck in a cave for 20 million years, what would that look like? Probably something like Belasarius Cawl probably, if I think about it lol. Great job as always Grand Master Curatus of Words, thank you.

As I lay here in my bed the golden voice of a skull will relax my head listening to a story of living and dead.its making me happy it has to be said . Hoping for victory for the imperium no matter how many will lying there father and son. As time goes by deeply I fall into the story of war . Much death makes me realise the greatest warriors with their size! Baldermorts is also a hero out there on digital waves it plane to see . His warm tones makes me see in this fictional story he has written for me with a voice so soft like a cyborg kitten my wife love each word gets her smitten perhaps she is also a cyborg kitten!

I remember first hearing Baldermort speaking in “The Awakening”….. all I kept hearing in my head after that was….. “…You think Darkness is your ally, you merely the adopted it; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the light of day until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!!”
Man...Pariah Nexus is such a microcosm of what's frustrating about 9th ed lore. The silent king is back and that's a huge galaxy changing event. He's so powerful and smart and cool but you'll have to take our word for it because he isn't allowed to accomplish anything. There's political infighting among the necrons that could be interesting but it's usually just a plot device to keep them from from doing anything that would impact the verse. And in the end nothing really matters anyways because chaos needs to be shoehorned in as the real big bads.
Imagine if Cawl could design a Scranton Reality Anchor/generator. Also why can't gellar fields be used on a planet to defend against warp incursion and atk?
So does this happens before, after or at the same time as tyranids lead sieg to the segmentum solar? Also wasnt guilliman going to cross the eye of terror to visit the dark imperium?
