    I have this tool and find it extremely accurate. Two passes are required to find the stud,
    The first pass indentifys the first edge and the light will go from green to red and them amber.
    When amber lights the second pass must be initiate
    d in the opposite direction and the display will accurately indicate the exact center.

      Yeah I think so. A lot of people seem to dislike it but I’ve never had any problems.

    Would it find cables (not necessarily live) plastered in the wall?

    in belgium we build with concrete. Would this product be able to scan through concrete floors and brick walls?

      yes. up to 12 cm in depth. you can scan for reinforcment in concrete for example.

    I believe this tool is a nothing more than a toy!
    I can not believe Bosch sells such a poor quality tools (I have several Bosch tools that last me a good decades) and they call it professional!!!
    Very disappointed!

    I don't have a metal, I don't have a live wire.....wtf are you testing at all! People, look at other videos cause reality is that this tool shows VERY uncertain and unreliable results.

      @@tim62744 Bosch Digital Multi-Scanner GMS120. I got it from Amazon couple months ago, and got frustrated so just smashed it. I ordered "Franklin Sensors FS710PROProSensor 710+ Professional Stud Finder with Built-in Bubble Level & Ruler,Yellow". I ordered it from Amazon and haven't received it yet. Saw in youtube and it seemed ok, but who knows.

      I’ve yet to find a good one there are all so inconsistent,all all the bullshit about calibration them

      @@tim62744 yeap! it's really hit and miss. You should see the nail holes on my wall. All false alarm. The instruction on youtube makes look easy but it's not. I'll let you know about the one I'm going to receive soon. Don't buy Bosch.

      @@tim62744 I just got the Franklin proSensor, and it works GREAT!!!! Not 100% accurate, but I would say 95%.

      Yes inclined to agree, many people looking to spend money on an important bit of kit. If you get it wrong and drill through pipe or electric its going to be a big problem. But its all to much about clicks likes views these days.

    Okay folks, when you buying Bosch pay attention! This original Bosch product (it's say GMS120 Professional) MADE IN GERMANY, not wall scanner like the one on North America trade MADE IN CHINA. CHEERS....

    To be honest about this tool : USELESS. I held it in my own hands and tested with no results at all.
    This review is deceptive and its not objective or lifelike.
