- Trey and nick back out on the new spot trying to figure out where the hot spots are. Found some artifacts along the way. Seems like the new field has some potential. I guess we will have to wait and see until after they turn it over.
Excellent Finds Fellas, so happy that Adena or Dixon? Was whole, that joker is thin, nice tools as well, love finding hammers stones, Beautiful Materials as well, I’m about to head out with my kayak and hit as many holes as I can today, appreciate the inspiration, Thanks For Sharing, Have A Blessed Weekend, GL&HH!!!👊🏹
Thanks man. I hope you find some smokers laying out. Today would be a good day to be in the yak. I just fired up the smoker. Gonna smoke some chuck roast for dinner.
That field is full of treasures!! I hope it gets turned over for you! Happy hunting.
Me too. Lol. It definitely has potential. I can hardly wait to get back out there
Looks like the new place is a good one Guy's. When you can find good stuff in the field in that shape just wait until it's weathered. Good luck you guy's and many blessings.
Thanks Kevin. We had a good time out there. I packed that metate back too. It was heavy but it was worth it. We may have to wait til the spring to get back in there. We still have some more spots to check. A lot of farmers are planting ground cover this year so it’s hit or miss.
@@SeMoArtifactAdventures as long as you guys are enjoying life that's all that matters. I'm hoping to see you guys find an axe. Not many found here in Colorado.
@@kevinkline6835 man you would not believe how many pieces of axes I have. I need to make a video on all the broken ones I have. I only have one grooved one and a couple of nice celts made of hard stone. I have a sweet little discoidal with a hole through it made of hard stone as well.
Nice finds man. I would be hitting that spot again after a rain! Love those hammer stones. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks man. Its rained for the last few days here. Not hard, but enough to wash the clumps down a little. Several of my spots need a good washing. Thanks for stopping by.
@@SeMoArtifactAdventures I am in the same boat man. Its been dry but starting on some shelters soon on our property.
Great finds enjoyed watching 👍👍👍
Thanks. That’s a new spot that we are trying to figure out. It always takes a while to figure out what time period was living there.
@@SeMoArtifactAdventures good luck with that and hope you do good on your next outing 👍👍👍
Some real good size to those points and blades. That one big blade you said you didn't record is crazy sweet material. And that hammer stone had some serious usage History upon history 🍻🏹⚡🍀🏴☠️
Cool saves guys, I hope that field keeps producing for you. GL next hunt 👍
Thanks Larry. It’s a lot of ground to cover and it apparently has several sites in it. I hope they turn it over. Best of luck to you.
Good finds, y'all 👍
Thanks. It was a lot of fun getting to take nick out there.
Some good saves guys good luck and God bless
Thanks. I appreciate it. Good luck to you too.
Nice day in the field
Thank you sir. We really enjoyed it.
Awesome brother
Thanks Doug.
The 2nd hammer stone, what is the name of that material? I live in SW Missouri & we have the same material. I love how you can take a hammer stone and break almost any other rock to pieces without damaging the hammer stone. Enjoyed the video 😊
I’m not sure what type it is. It’s almost like an agate. We find a lot of hammer stone made of quartz. We found a few cores of flint that they were taking spalls off. It was beautiful material too. I always find material that would have made the most beautiful points. It’s just the points never show up.😂. Just leaves you dreaming.
That's some good finds👍 I'd hit that old house sight with a metal detector your liable to find some goodies in there.🏹
Thanks. I need to get a metal detector. I have a few other spots I’d like to run one over.
Nice
Good Morning Naomi, Hope You Have A Great Weekend!!!
Thanks Naomi. Hope you had an awesome thanksgiving. Stay safe in those old buildings. As a home builder, it always makes me nervous seeing people walk around in abandoned buildings. I’ve fallen through floors of houses that still had people living in them. 😂 congrats on the new book too. That’s super cool.
