I don't know if you received information on your penguin. Original pattern is in the Popular Mechanics magazine September 1979. I just obtained one this summer❤

This was a great episode with the Penguin Spinning Wheel. I am really enjoying the Shave Them To Save Them wool breed introductions. I have been wanting to purchase a Jacob fleece for sometime....the colors are such a curiosity to me. Sorry you had hurt your back, and hope it feels better soon. 🐑🍷👍🏻

Thank you. I've enjoyed working with the Jacob. My daughter clarified that it is possible to have different micron counts too. So with one fleece it's possible to get a range of colors, lengths, textures, and crimp.

Thank you for posting this. I enjoyed your videol. Did you ever find a instruction book? I have a wheel and would love to find a book. Mine needs repair and that might help me.

Hey I just picked one of these up at goodwill. Any resources on how to use it? It works and I may only have to replace a hinge. Thank you for your video.

Sadly, no. I can't help with any additional resources. This wheel is basically a foot powered great/ walking wheel, kick spindle, or support spindle. For me, it was simply reframing how I thought about this wheel. Once I let go of the idea that it was a "traditional" style of wheel, spinning was much easier.
