New Wheel Bearing & Hub Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ASH...
This video shows you how to install new rear wheel hub bearings on your 2012-2017 Toyota Camry. Not only can a worn wheel bearing or hub be annoying if it is noisy or vibrating, but it can also lead to accelerated wear in other parts, or unsafe driving conditions. Replacing your worn bearing or hub with a quality TRQ part is a safe, smart, decision.
This repair was done on a 2014 Toyota Camry SE 2.5L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2012 Toyota Camry
    2013 Toyota Camry
    2014 Toyota Camry
    2015 Toyota Camry
    2016 Toyota Camry

This was the first job in years that beat me. Nothing I did would get this thing to move. Finally gave up and had a shop remove it. Appreciate not making it look like oh and it just pops right out. So easy anyone can do it.

I have a 2013 Camry and had to change the rear bearings. This video is 100% accurate how difficult it is to separate the bearing hub from the plate. A torche and a heavy hammer separated it. But damaged the back plate. Now my emergency break pads slightly squeak.

Thanks for the tutorial. Im no mechanic but my hubs are super bad and i have to replace them real soon. I would have been a lot more worried about doing it myself if it weren’t for your video so much appreciated.

I enjoyed this refresher lesson. I’m getting a little older and can’t do what I used to but you exercised my brain as I followed along. I found it a bit funny when you couldn’t break that bearing loose from the backing plate and had to resort to heat and an impact chisel. Reminded me of the good old days! Thanks for not editing that out. Did you put the star wheel in backward? The long side of the spring is designed to clear the teeth on the star wheel. You had the spring on top of the teeth. 🙀 Thanks again. 👨🏽‍🦳

Always plan a new backing plate in this job. They are relatively cheap considering.

Why not just replace the backing plate ? Seems like alot of work to get the bearing out.

Dude, you did not clean the brake shoes after you put them back on. They have now copper paste on them from your gloves. Quite sloppy.
