  • 1.1 - GEAR EXPECTATIONS
    RECOMMENDED STATS:
    Level 105x3
Full R9S4 PvE ATK LVL +2
All passives, NF passives are negligible
    Level 6+ glyphs, preferably 8+
    Majority of titles
As with most content, certain "support" classes will be able to get away with less gear but the previously mentioned gear is what I would personally recommend.
    1.2 - BOSSES
The bosses have a random spawn order and they get increasingly more difficult. As such, either save ultimates or wait for them to come off cooldown for the last few bosses.
    Shadow Dragon (immune to fire)
    Tips/Info:
Knocks back early on, immune/tidal since you'll be bursting early on.
Pay attention to the text on the screen, it will tell you when to separate and when to get together.
    Wyvern (immune to water)
    Tips/Info:
Essentially spawns the orbs at the start of the Seat of Torment instance that will purge or stun you.
Mainly an issue for melee toons, using faith/AD/immune pot early to avoid and/or 3 spark to avoid if you get the chance to see them target you.
    Water Dragon (immune to water)
    Tips/Info:
The boss will cast a healing spell that needs to be interrupted, ideally Knife Throw or Spell cutter from a sin does the trick.
The boss can apply two different sets of nasty damage over time effects to you. Metal or Water.
Save faith/Immune pot that removes effects and/or 3 spark to avoid it.
The boss will also drop a few sets of pools that will essentially one shot you if you stand in them.
Move away as soon as he drops them and the person with the agro of the boss should reposition the boss.
Red Smoke Dragon (immune to fire)
    Tips/Info:
If you lack the damage to kill the boss within a few seconds, he will become immune to damage and eventually spawn a seed. Kill it in order for him to start taking damage again.
If the boss is one of the later bosses in the dungeon, move away from the boss if he casts his "strong blow" as it can do a significant amount of damage.
    Fire Dragon (immune to fire)
    Tips/Info:
    Boss reduces your fire resistance.
After a period of time the boss will spawn orbs "Soul of Fire" whilst reducing the damage he takes significantly. These orbs need to be focused down in order to weaken the dragon.
Additionally these orbs will spew out AoE damage that can easily wipe the party.
The boss will also cast "Chi Blast", when you see the message, prepare an immunity AD/Pot/3 Spark in order to survive it, it's very likely to one-shot you.
Alpha Dragon (immune to metal and fire)
    Tips/Info:
The boss drops a pool of poison, normal boss mechanic "don't stand in fire". However the dragon does pull you in towards him, so be wary of where you end up.
Although this seems to be the main mechanic of the boss, the difficulty lies within the poison DoT that he applies to the party alongside the weaken of resist. Faith/Pot/3 Spark it off early, if you end up dying early, getting back into the "match" is exceptionally hard.
Initial tip for Duskblades would be to use the upgraded "Night Howler" ability at the start of the fight in order to give the party seal immunity as the boss repeatedly seals the entire party, giving you the highest dps window from the start.
    Armored Dragon (immune to metal)
    Tips/Info:
For unknown reasons the boss is prone to one-shot the first melee to attack it, I usually AD at the start in order to avoid this.
The boss spawns damaging circle auras alongside his eggs, either move out of these or use an immunity in order to focus down the eggs. These eggs need to be killed as fast as possible, if they are not killed, the boss will be buffed significantly.
Be aware of your debuffs on this boss, the physical debuff combined with the bosses AoE can do a surprising amount of damage.
    1.3 - RECOMMENDED SQUAD COMPOSITION

    1. Cleric
    2. Blademaster
    3. Duskblade
    4. Venomancer
    5. Seeker
    6. Assassin
    7. Stormbringer
    8. Any class - Personal preference: Stormbringer
    9. Any class - Personal preference: Assassin
    10. Any class - Personal preference: Assassin/Stormbringer
Lastly, the DC run showcased in the video is by no means perfect and the dungeon is still very new so it is subject to change. As it stands right now however, it is one of the harder orders of bosses.

Lmao veno with lvl 10 glyphs, and not only the veno. M E M E. You can only argue this dungeon is not for P2W players if they have been around for at least 2 years. If you are an early 2024 or even 2023 player, and did not spend 1k+ bucks, good luck with that shit lol .. better make alts and stick to farming outside of it - you will never be taken to squads since you won't have the damage or the additional utility (such as lvl 10 glyphed amp lmfao)

I agree with you on the fact that players will not take you to the dungeon if you're not able to perform up to their expectation. However that is up to the leader of the squad and not a limitation of the dungeon.
I've personally done the dungeon on a few alts with close to no titles and just lvl 5 glyphs, meaning mainly PvE gear and +2 ATK stones in the gear. Getting to that point in the game is more than achievable without donating in about a month or two depending on how much you play the game and your knowledge of the server. Bare in mind that this is for a dungeon that was designed for people that are end-game on a PvE Server.
However with the current state of the prices of the mats that you get from doing DC, you'd be far better of doing other content for currency, much like you said, in order to purchase the mats. Although DC is fairly high up in terms of the money you can get from doing it, it is far from the best money-maker in the game.
Majority of the people that have/sell lvl 9 or 10 glyphs, aren't actually doing DC, they're farming legendary titles and selling them. Something that you could be doing within the first week of being on the server.
Note that I'm not trying to defend the server in any way, shape or form. Simply just providing my two cents on your comment.
