So if you a parent and especially have a son - you better get the fuck out the hood or the ghetto if you want to see your child out live you. I know money is a big issue. But there are places in rural communities that are just as cheap as the hood, and majority of rural towns have section-8/HUD housing if you can't afford rent out in the sticks.
