i notice that u re using a paper wire that florist use to bind their flower,is it okay to use that kind of wire in a cake?
You can cover the wire by placing it into a plastic straw or wrapping it in a food-safe material

could I add the sugar flowers to the cake and place it in the fridge overnight?
Hi i just want you to know that I love your content! Can I ask you a question? I’m a student at culinary school and we have to make some decoration from gumpaste and I decided to make flowers from your vids. but the think is we just have less than 3 hours to create the decoration, as far as i know we need the dry the gumpaste for hours. Do you have some tips or can I just make the flowers without dried the petals etc?? Thank you for any help you can provide!☺️
Use extra tylose powder
@@marthahschaeffer4581 thank you so much for the tips
@@myczn512 it dries very fast so you have to work fast too
Agreed with Martha. Use a bit of extra tylose and it will dry faster. But only add a bit at a time so that it doesn't get too stiff and un-workable. There are a few flowers that are okay not fully dried as long as they are sitting sideways on the cake such as small flowers (lilacs, stephanotis, etc) or spray roses and carnations.
