@7kinhomestead What a fun game! I wonder if they even make that anymore! 😜😆🤣 I've been super busy lately and keep missing your lives, but I'm thinking of you guys and hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving! What was that website or app you once mentioned that you can make songs on? I tried to find the live you mentioned it but... no luck yet, haha! 🤪

I set up my system as well, it's easier than most people think.

It really is and most of the time people who know enough to teach it also depends on people not knowing so I figure maybe some good will come of these videos.

Interesting! I'm getting by with 2.2 Kw of solar panels and a small set of batteries for my house. Having said that, my well pump has 1.1 Kw of solar panels all to itself! It would have been nice to have added that to the house, but it's about 100 yards from the house.... and the other hitch is my house has a 12 volt system and the well uses 24 volt stuff.

Do you mind if I inquire how big your house is? I was persuaded to volt up for cable costs.

Thanks again for the valuable info. Solar panels are definitely in the future plans and now I know I can do this myself. I'm pretty handy with electrical and should probably just get my certification when we get moved, either way I am amped to learn more

That's a great idea!! Always a need for electricity and thus electricians are always in demand.

You just did what thousands have tried to do in long drawn out videos, in 4 minutes. With jokes.

They say laughter is the best medicine but it's a pretty good teacher too. 😂

Would you recommend this for someone with zero experience in building and electrical? The savings alone could go towards expanding the system.

Its probably better to have a hand from someone who has a little experience but if you can follow directions and can learn from mistakes, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Oh and welcome to the homestead!!
